...If I may ask, would someone please tell me just what this is? Because I honestly have no clue.

Doctor Who — Long Way Around: https://www.fanfiction.net/s/13536044/1/Doctor-Who-Long-Way-AroundIt's a Steam sale. Multiple times eachyear they throw a great big event with lots of games up for sale at ridiculously small prices.
Yeah, and you get to complete special achievements for the chance to win a daily raffle in which every game you have on your wishlist is given to you, and other stuff.
"Hipsters: the most dangerous gang in the US." - Pacific MackerelThere have been two massive sales every year since 2010. One for summer and one for winter.
Apocalypse: Dirge Of Swans.Huh...
A look into Steam Forums indicates that it might not even be until the 12th...
All the sudden I feel a bit embarrassed. I guess we can still throw guesses as to what occurs.
I now go by Graf von Tirol.12th? Why is it so late?
Give me cute or give me...something?Satan Clause doesn't respect National Holidays.
Of course this sale means that now would be a good time to organize one's Wishlist.
Apocalypse: Dirge Of Swans.I NEED THAT SALE NOW. MY HOLIDAYS END THIS WEEK :(
Honestly, I was more interested in the diary entries than the actual sale last year(mostly because I have no money).
Artificial Intelligence is no match for Natural Stupidity.Play the gmes, get special achievements, you can win games.
I updated my Wishlist with a bunch of Paradox games and other startegy ones. Should be fun to play this one.
I couldn't buy any games to play. Besides, I had enough games anyway.
Artificial Intelligence is no match for Natural Stupidity.Unless they give out a REALLY good deal on one of the better games in their library, I'll likely be sitting this one out. As it stands, I have several games on this computer that I've yet to play enough or finish.
Saving my energy for the sale. Even then, I'm mostly happy with what I have, and I have one hell of a backlog.
At least a discount on Rayman Origins could do nicely though...
I now go by Graf von Tirol.I can't think of any currently-released games that are on my to-buy list, but we'll see. Something on the idle wishlist might receive an incredible sale.
Panhandling sign glued to hands. Need $5 for solvent.Wonder if Achron, A Valley Without Wind and other titles will be discounted or not...
Give me cute or give me...something?Add to that Bastion, and I may take a punt on that.
^ Not for me though...I already got Bastion from winter sales...
Give me cute or give me...something?Is it any good? Bear in mind I have played Legend of Mana, which seems sort of similar, in concept if not in execution, and loved it.
bastion?
hellz yes.

Guys, anyone who's played LA Noire. Should I just get the base game or get the DLC as well?
The dlc is more expensive than the base game for me. $3.74 for Vanilla and $4.49 for the DLC bundle.
I'd say get it. If you enjoy the crime solving in LA Noire you'll enjoy the extra cases.
So you'd personally recommend LA Noire complete for $8.25?
Yup, for $8.25 it's a steal.
Keep hearing conflicting reports of when the Summer Sale would start, like either this coming Thursday or the week afterwards...
The Midweek Madness though doesn't end at 10 AM PST though, so it may be next week after all...
I guess now is speculatin' time!
