Crosswicking standards...:

In the Complete Monster cleanup thread, I looked for consensus for removing Eddie Brock from the CM entry Spider Man YMMV page's movie section without realizing that earlier in the thread there was consensus for removing the same character from the film section of CM.

So basically, one entry was removed weeks before the one crosswicked with it was removed.

How should we approach removal of crosswicked entries? Should those removing an entry be expected to look for the crosswicked entry as well, or should that be a more general expectation for those who know it to be removed?

(Bear in mind that this isn't just for CM, but for any trope or audience reaction. For removals that aren't based on discussion from some thread, the edit history would serve as the equivalent means of knowing when something was removed.)

In theory, example removal should carry a corresponding removal of its crosswick. That doesn't always happen, but it should.
[up] Should that be made one of the numbered edit tips? (Ie. One of the ones that shows up at the top when people go to edit?)

The system doesn't know you right now, so no post button for you.
You need to Get Known to get one of those.
