Animation Revelation's Top 65 Cartoons:
The list. Pretty interesting and unique choices, of course, I'm not done reading the whole thing, but these guys definitely know their stuff. Also, anyone mind if I cross post this in the Anime & Manga forum? They have quite a few anime titles in their list.

Grabbing my destinyIt wouldn't hurt, but don't be surprise if some people get pissy over the blogger listing the anime among "cartoons." Pretty nice list over all, but several series got the "What the hell" reaction for their placements. I do like YuYu Hakusho making the top 10 though.

Just awesome like thatI'm surprised (but pleasantly so) to see King of the Hill in the top 5. Even more surprised to see Ed, Edd n Eddy at number 7. And amused to see that they used the "Cowboy Bebop at His Computer" picture After skimming the list, I'm actually kind of surprised how many of these I've seen (and how many are ones that I've been meaning to check out for a long time). I haven't heard of a few of them though. (GTO?)

I agree some of the placements are odd, but then again, its all just opinion. I may think series X deserves a much higher spot than Y, but I won't be too hung up over it, especially since each entry has such a good explanation for it.
Columbia is tired of your s**t!Was anyone else thinking, “If Family Guy is at #1, I’m throwing my computer across the room”? Ed, Edd n Eddy at #7? Nostalgia Filter, anyone?
The Movie Explorer: discovering oddities from the cinematic jungle.
The RazruchityelI definitely think Avatar should be a lot higher on that list but other than that I have no major complaints. Sure I would rate a lot of things far lower than they are and I haven't seen most of the anime but nothing on that list made me go "WTF are these people on? This show is garbage!" That's always a good sign when you have a top whatever list. Replace Family Guy with Simpsons or South Park and I had the same thought. edit: Wait a minute, Samurai Jack is not on that list. I now have a complaint.

The only thing I really don't agree with is Avatar being so damn low. Other then that, not bad. Wait, Samurai Jack's not on this list. What the hell?

Grabbing my destinyYou're allowed to disagree with an opinion. That's why they're opinions.
Which series' placements made you go "What the hell?" exactly?Superman: The Animated Series being at #50 is the standout example IMHO.

Sloving cases one by oneFor once an animation list that ISN'T filled up with Disney movies. I'm freaking happy about that. Also, not to bad for the choices they picked for favorite cartoons. Although, I am a bit disappointed that Friendship Is Magic and Sym-Bionic Titan dont make it in the list. But then again...Everyone's a critic.
Grabbing my destinyIt's not filled with Disney movies becuase it's about Animated Shows.
AwesomebenderThose exact two shows were also listed as being too recent and they don't know if it'll hold up well in the coming years. It makes sense, I'm glad they considered that. You can't really have an all-time list with things that just recently finished, because what could be prime in the present may not necessarily be too great later.
cuter, cuddlier EdmondI'm actually pleasantly surprised that this guy picked cartoons from a wide range of genres, mediums and eras. Usually I cringe at the thought of "Top X cartoons" because they usually act like nothing was good before the 1990s (the most overrated decade ever IMO) but this guy subverts that. I'm surprised Huckleberry Hound of all things made the list. Not one of my favorites, but I'm not gonna criticize it either.
You can't even write racist abuse in excrement on somebody's car without the politically correct brigade jumping down your throat!
Perpetual NoobI can't say that I agree with 59 appearing on that list at all. Good? Yeah, sure. 59th best animated show of all time? That's pushing it.
I put on my robe and tinfoil hat...
What's wrong with 59? It's still pretty low on the list anyway.
I treat all living things equally. That is to say, I eat all living things
Just awesome like thatWho is Animation Revelation anyway?
animation elitistSome animation website that says it's better than Toon Zone (which means that it is more likely than less, filled with people who got banned from Toon Zone)
Smug BastardI'd place Darkwing Duck (brilliant original superhero parody) over DuckTales (decent but still very watered down version of the classic Carl Barks Duckverse).
Haters gonna hate, apologists gonna make apologies up.
theoneguyI'm not a fan of 'Top X' lists, because they always leave off something or disappoint somebody. Obviously, its just an opinion, and I wish people could just leave stuff like this alone. What I'd really like to see is some kind of open-source blog-thingy that just lists everything everybody can agree is 'good'. No ranking, no limiting to just one person's opinions.
