With this, Tyler slipped out. Tyler knew better than to argue with crazy people.

"Okay, what the hell is going on here?" asked Peter. Were they... burning books? What kind of University is this?

Athalia made her way over to the girl with the Twilight book. "I really don't think you should be doing that to Library property."

[Library]

Tyler paused.

Someone agreeable?

Tyler turned to get a glimpse of the person who had spoke.

"But the University's abandoned! It's not like they'll miss it!" Tina said, while taping New Moon on the lighting rod with duct tape.

[Library]

Tyler's teeth gritted against each other, at the thought of perfectly usable material being destroyed. Then a deep breath was taken, and Tyler decided to watch what would happen next.

"That doesn't excuse destroying something that doesn't belong to you!" Athalia protested. "I'm sure you wouldn't like it if I had destroyed your own property the moment you left it behind!"

[Dormitory 1st Floor]

"Don't let it bother you. Especially now." Raze said as they arrived near the end of the corridor. "So, Royce, have you any idea of what should we do to wait out the rain?"

[Great Hall]

Cyrus jumps and smiles nervously at the newcomer. "Oh, hello. We're at a university. I don't know which one, and I'm not sure if it has any specialties, but, uh... well, it's a university. I'm just exploring right now. Kind of hoping to find a science lab and see what it has to offer. Do you know if there's one around here?"

[Library]

Tyler walked back to the scene, and smiled at the girl from behind. Well, at least she was more eloquent than Tyler was.

Tina finished taping the said evil book to the lighting rod. She then went to a window, and opened it. "It's all set! You might wanna cover your ears, guys!" Tina said as she ran with the rod in hand, and tossed it out the window, javelin-style. It landed in a courtyard, on the grass. A few seconds later, lightning struck the lighting rod with a loud crack of thunder shaking the entire University. The book was completely destroyed, like almost the gods were ashamed such a book could exist. "Success!" Tina said out loud.

Tyler's face contorted with fury.

"You...are a horrible person."

Tyler resolved to not like either of these two girls any longer.

Loyce decided not to correct him about the name. "I don't know. Go look around, I guess?"

[Library]

"What the...?" Athalia said. She turned to Peter, urging him to come forward. Making his way over to the girl who had destroyed the book, Peter asked her, "I'm sorry, but what was that? Don't tell me you're a... mage, are you?"

[Great Hall]

The young man certainly didn't belong in Scout's world, but yet again, it was silly to hang on that. There would be a way home. There always was one.

"I'm Scout!" She adjusted her headband and patted the stuffed chick's fabric. "I just found myself here, so I don't know anything about this place either. Are you a scientist, or do you just like science?"

Library

"My name is Rachel Pahlke. I wound up here through some sort of dimensional flux or something.... I was hoping I could find out soon," Rachel responded, looking down at her feet to ensure that one of her toeclaws didn't get snagged on a loose thread or something. Now that there was someone talking to her, it would be slightly embarrassing if she tripped.

It was at this point that a heck of a lot of noise was coming from other parts of the library. It seemed to be getting rather active in here - maybe everyone had the same idea she did? Rachel doubted that explained the recent explosion, though. Or the sound of fire she heard earlier.

"What the heck is going on in here?" she asked, looking around with a curious look on her face.

"Nope, I'm not a mage." Tina said to Peter. "I think the Gods are as ashamed at that book series as I am."

"You are a horrible...horrible person." Tyler repeated again, as if trying to get the message across.

"Who are you to decide what gods want, or what gets to be destroyed? Who are you?" The inflection was finally in Tyler's voice.

[Dormitory 1st Floor]

Raze stopped, "Perhaps it is the best course of action to—" His sentence failed to finish as a loud noise, muffled by the walls, echoed throughout the room. He reflexively put his hand upon his other pants pocket, the one that contained Glock 17. As a scientist that had devoted to create an artificial human, the road he went through wasn't all that smooth.

It took him several seconds to realize that it wasn't a gunshot, but a lightning strike. "Now, lightning strikes are very unlikely to happen at such proximity." He remarked, although Loyce most likely have noticed the presence of his gun by now, Raze let his hands off his pocket as calm as possible.

"Whatever," Athalia said, "I'm sure you're having your fun here, but can you stop with the book destroying? I don't care how you personally feel about a work of fiction, so unless that book contained something incriminating about you, you shouldn't just go around getting rid of copies of it... and to that extent."

[Library]

"Well, I'm over it now." Tina said to Tyler, satisfied over seeing the evil book being struck by lightning. "But I promise I won't destroy another book here."

Tyler's teeth grit once again at the thought, as well as being rather annoyed that anything that was being said was being completely ignored.

Tyler took a soothing breath.

"Thank you." Tyler said to the girl who had also stepped in.

[Library]

Ena ran over to the window and laughed. "HA!" Her voice echoed across the grounds. "Take that, you stupid piece of angsty literature!" Ena whirled around to face Tina. "That was awesome! We've gotta get a... pile of Twilight books! And then we can have a book burning! It's going to be fun!"

"Um, I made a promise to these guys not to destroy the books here." Tina said to Ena. "You go ahead without me."

Tyler smiled slightly with relief. Maybe writing off Tina had been a bad idea...

"Do we go see or get as far away as possible?" Loyce asked. Personally, he was rather curious about what happened. His eyes moved to the gun in Raze's pocket, but he decided to say nothing. He wasn't that surprised, anyway-it wasn't that unusual for him, or anyone where he lived, either.
