WARNING: This might take awhile.
I've been working on this idea for months now. The basic idea is that all fiction is apart of an entire Multiverse.
It started with a somewhat moddest mega crossover about Marty from Back to the Future
, Bill & Ted
, and Lydia from Beetlejuice ending up on a road trip across the Multiverse. It would start with the end of the first BTTF movie, where, instead of going back to his time, Marty would end up in Bill and Ted's universe, and they would meet. Somehow, they would use the Delorian to get the Beetlejuice
universe, and Lydia would join them. Later on, I added Jack to the cast, and decided to make it an all '80s movie crossver. The entire time, they would be checking for their own universes.
Around the same time, I was nursing an idea for an Alien/The Matrix/Terminator crossover, in which all three series took place in the same universe. I evantually decided that it would be easier to apply the Multiverse idea to this, but for the longest time I didn't have a plot. The only things that really stuck were a.) Ripley, after 'Alien', would find herself on a human ship on 'The Matrix
' universe's earth, which contains an Alien, b.) The T-800 would be their, and c.) Neo would be sharing his body with someone else (Originally, he had an evil split personallity, then it became the souls of the previous Ones, and currently it's John Conner from Terminator 2).
After awhile, I decided, 'What the hell, I'll put the stories into the same continuity!' After that, a few more ideas popped into my head, like a 'Star Wars
'/'Labyrinth' crossover, and an 'Evil Dead
' crossover, and they would all be apart the same Multiverse. My mom (Who I've been discussing the entire thing with) and I even came up with a creation myth, involving a single, huge universe being split into the Multiverse, and two jealous Gods and their children trying to take over.
I was trying to figure out how to connect everything, until I came up with a powerless son of the aforementioned jealous Gods being good, and traveling the Multiverse trying to fix it up after a spell gone wrong to break a powerfull barrier, which would explain the crossovers in the first place. He would appear in every story, talk with the characters, and disappear. It would all lead up to all the characters ending up in the same universe at the same time, and finding out about a plot to resurrect two extremely powerfull and insane Goddesses, who's souls would be inhabitting the bodies of two women.
Will it be to complicated if I put these into seperate stories? Will it be to confusing no matter what I do? Should I just make it one, extremely long story?
