Fanfic Interest Thread:
Nerves of GundaniumMahou Sensei Negima! crossover/fusion with Getter Robo, inspired purely because of Haruna Saotome bearing the same surname as Professor Saotome. The premise is that Professor Saotome builds the Getter Machines at his laboratory near Kyoto and invites his daughter to come and see it with a few of her friends. Some time later, the hijinks during the school trip happen. Chigusa unseals a demonic Kaiju, just like in canon. Cue Falling into the Cockpit as Haruna, Takane, and Negi end up having to save the day. CHAAAAAAANGE GETTER ONE! SWITCH ON!!
Back to the Future, Bill & Ted, and Lydia from Beetlejuice ending up on a road trip across the Multiverse. It would start with the end of the first BTTF movie, where, instead of going back to his time, Marty would end up in Bill and Ted's universe, and they would meet. Somehow, they would use the Delorian to get the Beetlejuice universe, and Lydia would join them. Later on, I added Jack to the cast, and decided to make it an all '80s movie crossver. The entire time, they would be checking for their own universes. Around the same time, I was nursing an idea for an Alien/The Matrix/Terminator crossover, in which all three series took place in the same universe. I evantually decided that it would be easier to apply the Multiverse idea to this, but for the longest time I didn't have a plot. The only things that really stuck were a.) Ripley, after 'Alien', would find herself on a human ship on 'The Matrix' universe's earth, which contains an Alien, b.) The T-800 would be their, and c.) Neo would be sharing his body with someone else (Originally, he had an evil split personallity, then it became the souls of the previous Ones, and currently it's John Conner from Terminator 2). After awhile, I decided, 'What the hell, I'll put the stories into the same continuity!' After that, a few more ideas popped into my head, like a 'Star Wars'/'Labyrinth' crossover, and an 'Evil Dead'/'The Frighteners' crossover, and they would all be apart the same Multiverse. My mom (Who I've been discussing the entire thing with) and I even came up with a creation myth, involving a single, huge universe being split into the Multiverse, and two jealous Gods and their children trying to take over. I was trying to figure out how to connect everything, until I came up with a powerless son of the aforementioned jealous Gods being good, and traveling the Multiverse trying to fix it up after a spell gone wrong to break a powerfull barrier, which would explain the crossovers in the first place. He would appear in every story, talk with the characters, and disappear. It would all lead up to all the characters ending up in the same universe at the same time, and finding out about a plot to resurrect two extremely powerfull and insane Goddesses, who's souls would be inhabitting the bodies of two women. Will it be to complicated if I put these into seperate stories? Will it be to confusing no matter what I do? Should I just make it one, extremely long story?

Nerves of GundaniumIf you're going for a multiverse - or hell, even just one big universe - I'd go ahead and do multiple stories. That's what I eventually aim to do with Neon Knights (Mega Crossover for a crapload of mecha shows and some other stuff more or less in the style of Super Robot Wars), presuming I ever get the drive to finish it - the "main" story takes place in America and focuses primarily on Neon Genesis Evangelion, while I also plan on a side-story set in Japan and focuses primarily on Code Geass and Full Metal Panic! (sort of like Super Robot route and Real Robot route in SRW). At one point, the plotlines would converge.
Self Insert (with Mind Screw) Serial Experiments Lain fic with me as the proto-goddess of the (Wired) but I've never done anything like that and I doubt anyone would be interested in it. I do 'change' personality once I'm online though :) Unfortunately there are a few Dead Fic I have lying around...

You are a Innocent Uke! Cute and sweet of all ukes! my profile
The North RemembersI'm writing a Star Wars fanfic set during the era of the Star Wars: Legacy comics, about the crew of a Galactic Alliance military vessel as they go on missions. The first story is about them fighting a slaving ring. However, the crew is made up entirely of O Cs — think of it being a true Elsewhere Fic. Canon characters are kept Out of Focus and the mains have varying opinions on them. The crew starts out being exclusively human, but as the story branches out into the wider Star Wars galaxy, the crew will become more diversified to reflect that.
Talos guide you.
ArtibiHmm... Would anyone be interested in an Evangelion fic where Fuyutsuki thinks he's Sherlock Holmes?
One day, House was walk into his House. "It is good to have House House!" say House, as he walk into House House.
Otaku CowboyI had an idea for a Curtain Fic that is also a crossover of Code Geass and Mafia II. The basic idea is that C.C. and Vito Scaletta go to Pizza Hut. It's supposed to be funny and cute, and I may have it go past a one-shot. But how should I approach this? I'm fairly new at actually writing fanfics. Yeah, it is a simple curtain fic about C.C. and Vito Scaletta going to Pizza Hut, but are there any pitfalls to avoid, if any?
The Demon SlayerI've been thinking about writing a Diablo/Highlander Fusion Fic set during the 20-year period between Diablo II and Diablo III. Thing is, I'm not all that versed in the cosmology of the Highlander series, and thus have absolutely no clue as to how Immortals would fit into Diablo's world of demons, angels and nephalem.
Otaku CowboySo, is anybody interested in my Curtain Fic involving Code Geass and Mafia II?
This is not so much what I would be able to do, having so little time, as what I'd like to see, if someone can accomplish it. For this one, the PotHoles, along with the Added Alliterative Appeal, should give you an idea of where I'm heading.* Longbottom's Legion
_____ ∆ _____ ∆∆How about this one, a script fic sequel to the yellow submarine movie as a television series. Instead of the fairly light songs and imaginative settings this will take place in a post-apocolyptic wasteland, be mostly based off of the white album and come with some trippy artwork for each episode. Just picture the yellow submarine spiraling int a black hole as one of the beatles lapses into delirium to revolution 9... Anybody?
