Video Game High School:

Aurabolt
Created by Freddie Wong, this new series work with drama...in the future...with videogames as sports. Its pretty damn good. Why don't we discuss this one too? After all, Video Game High School is where its at....you know, when the surmounting social issues tend to be so much more important and that multiplayer has come to its logical conclusion.

Watch the first episode here. Really seems to hold up nicely, but a little discussion doesn't hurt.

I actually have Asperger's Syndrome, and I'm not ashamed of it..although I wonder why The Internet finds it funny to steal it. Heh.

The second season has been enjoyable so far.

Hey, in Ted's game, under the bridge with all the cars, isn't that the same area where Kavinsky filmed his music video for Protovision?

It looks like it is! I wonder if that was intentional or if it's just a popular spot to shoot driving scenes.

EDIT: It's also roughly the same place where Drive's opening scenes were filmed as well. Makes sense considering Freddie's background, and it seems like the location was specifically chosen with that in mind. Either way, that's p cool.

ONWARD! For the sake of my porkchops!
I'm seriously a dedicated fan to this show. Why can't real school be like that?

Nathan Kress, Freddie Benson from iCarly, is in Season 3.

Huh.

Korra and Asami holding hands, looking into each other's eyes. It totally happened.
The only thing I wish they would've done is render all the video game scenes as animated mimicks of what you see on the screen when playing video games, instead of live-action. But then, I suppose they don't have the budget for that, nor the talent or appreciation for the medium and are fine sticking with animation just for special effects.

No, I disagree. They have their own style, and I feel of they did that, the charm of this world they created would somewhat be lost.

Who's ready to fight for their lives?
I don't think the season 1 AFK gag would be as funny otherwise.
