And it's out. I'm not accepted for the job for the meantime 'cause the position may not be a good fit...
"Exit muna si Polgas. Ang kailangan dito ay si Dobermaxx!"So I applied to a few jobs today and one of them selected me to come in for an interview. They want me to dress in business casual attire ut I don't know how cold it'll be that day. I'm not sure what I should do.
To pity someone is to tell them "I feel bad about being better than you."Wool underwear.
Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.I can't tell if you're being serious or not.
I wish I know if the building had a place to hang coats.

Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.A formal looking coat can keep you warm while looking smart, even if they don’t have a place for you to put it a coat can always be hung on the back of a chair.
"And the Bunny nails it!" ~ Gabrael "If the UN can get through a day without everyone strangling everyone else so can we." ~ CyranI don't know if I have any, and if I could afford while and still buy food for the rest of the month, I wouldn't be looking for a job.
To pity someone is to tell them "I feel bad about being better than you."Do you know anyone who might be able to lend you one? Also check charity shops around your area, you can get very nice looking clothes for very cheap, I have two coats that new cost over £1000 that I’ve gotten from charity shops for around £100, obviously if money is tight you can’t go for something that expensive but they may have cheaper stuff that’s still formal enough.
"And the Bunny nails it!" ~ Gabrael "If the UN can get through a day without everyone strangling everyone else so can we." ~ CyranThe closest thing is a Goodwill in Gaithersburg, which is two cities away from where I am.
To pity someone is to tell them "I feel bad about being better than you."Yeah in that case your best bet is going to be to try and borrow one from someone.
"And the Bunny nails it!" ~ Gabrael "If the UN can get through a day without everyone strangling everyone else so can we." ~ CyranI wonder if the winter coat I have now will be acceptable. It's not like I have to wear it during the interview.
To pity someone is to tell them "I feel bad about being better than you."If you want to describe it I can make a guess for you, generally you just want something in a dark colour that's preferably woollen.
"And the Bunny nails it!" ~ Gabrael "If the UN can get through a day without everyone strangling everyone else so can we." ~ CyranIf your coat is too shabby-looking, remove it in the entryway and drape over your left arm (leaving the right open for handshakes.) If there's a reception area, it's okay to ask the front desk person if there is a place to hang your coat—they know it's winter! If not, casually drape it over the back of the chair (or wherever the interviewer tells you to put your stuff) and don't draw attention to it. Keep the interviewer focused on you and your fitness for the job.
Unless you're going for a job where physical appearance and fashion are top priorities, looking professional and prepared is more important than looking prosperous.
(For, say, a Men's Wearhouse job, you'll want to show that you can rock a really nice suit, and they *will* judge you on your outfit.)
I can’t tell lenth from the photo, it doesn’t look bad at all, my only concern is that hood, something with a hood isn’t generally business casual.
A lot probably depends on the kind of job as well.

To pity someone is to tell them "I feel bad about being better than you."Question: is it normal for potential employers to check your browser history?
To pity someone is to tell them "I feel bad about being better than you."What devise would they have to check? They shouldn’t have access to any of your personal electronics and if you’re not an employee yet you wouldn’t have access to their computers.
I know that some places like to check social media and anywhere with security clearance is going to demand a ton of information, but that’s all I can think of.
"And the Bunny nails it!" ~ Gabrael "If the UN can get through a day without everyone strangling everyone else so can we." ~ CyranOnly if said browser is on one of their computers from what I've seen. Though mine have admitted that they've combed through my social media pages before.
There are two reasons why a prospective employer would ask for access to your personal devices or passcodes before making a firm job offer.
1. It's a Secret Test of Character. The correct answer is "No." This shows that you understand cybersecurity basics.
2. They're scammers. The correct answer is "Heck no."
OTOH, doing an online search for your social media and other things about you is considered a perfectly legitimate tactic. If you have posted pictures of yourself drunk, drugged or committing crimes, now would be a good time to take them down.
If there's damaging stuff, you need to drown it out on your Google results. Have all your friends post pictures of you volunteering at soup kitchens, hugging cute kittens, shaking hands with city officials and the like.

I just did an interview today for a home based childcare program. They really were impressed my resume and cover letter. I just hope I can get picked.
Best luck!
My application is already confirmed for a research analyst in Singapore. Hopefully I can at least get through with an interview call. Or whatnot.
"Exit muna si Polgas. Ang kailangan dito ay si Dobermaxx!"Best luck! Singapore is a competitive job market, so making it there will be a feather in your cap!
And the interview's done. Seemed to be okay, but I'm not sure if they'll consider me for round 2.
