Of course what we've actually had has been 16 degrees and torrential rain for much of the summer.
"Yup. That tasted purple."With that in mind, one thing I was not expecting today was to get a mild case of sunburn.
I'm posting because, sad to say, I'm dropping out. I've had an unusually busy summer, and it's only getting busier from here. Sorry if I just screwed up anything.
J-E-T-S JETS JETS JETS!D'aw man. That's bad. Hope things get better.
Guys, I'll only put up a post tomorrow. So plenty of time for everyone to post.
Scott's got me stumped at the moment.
Waiting for you, Strat.
The voice of thy brother's blood crieth unto me from the groundCan't seem to recall you doing anything too out of the ordinary, considering the nature of the RP as a whole. Regardless of how good of a player you think you've been, I certainly wish that your summer is full of entertainment and joy.
I'm in the Jerusalem Gate hotel, and I go to the reception.
Me: Wi-fi?
Woman: We have half hour, one hour, or one day.
Me: Continuous?
Woman: Yes.
Me: *sigh* How much?
Woman: Listen, go downstairs, free connection, ok?
Hey, just a tip, if you're going to tell me to get the free wifi, DON'T HAVE A PAID OPTION!
Welcome to Israel, where everyone tries to make you their frayer/sanjer, Strat.
The voice of thy brother's blood crieth unto me from the groundEh. Also, second time Fate says the Doctor is a bit... odd.
Pardon? Where?
The voice of thy brother's blood crieth unto me from the ground^^^What do those words MEAN?! XD
Basically, a frayer is a gullible person, someone who lets others trick and manipulate them for the others' profit. Sanjer is a newer synonym. They're both Hebrew slang words.
The voice of thy brother's blood crieth unto me from the groundAh.
Amusingly, Russian has practically the same word with the close meaning* O_o I was just very not sure if it would be the same :D

It's probable that they share an origin — there's a large Russian community here, after all.
The voice of thy brother's blood crieth unto me from the groundYeah. Wiki points to it coming from Odessa, with roots in Yiddish.
^^^^ Just saying. She said it to Aang and now to Toph.
Ah, that. Didn't quite get what you meant at the first time. And yes, she does. It's a polite, understated way of saying 'he's nuts'.
The voice of thy brother's blood crieth unto me from the groundHe's not nuts. The crazyness part of his charm.
Anyway, plenty of time for everyone to post. Everyone.
BTW, tangentially related to earlier: I hope they won't force you to go outside, Strat. It's circa 40 degrees Celsius. In the shade.
The voice of thy brother's blood crieth unto me from the groundWe're in the Hatzalah office. And I think we'll visit an assentment in the afternoon. Yaaaay.
BTW, I'm on the Jerusalem Gate hotel, if you wanna pop for a visit. Har har.

Actually, that'd be a great idea. It's near the central bus station, right?
The voice of thy brother's blood crieth unto me from the groundI have no idea.
Besides, the monitors won't allow me to meet *gasp* an outsider. And a stranger.
Oh, bummer.
-Sadface-
Australia's weather currently has no idea what it's doing. It can be 18 degrees and rainy one day and bright and sunny the next. We had our coldest days last year during the SUMMER.
