Its vs. It's:
Mustelidae = awesomeOn nearly every other page, I'm finding someone using "it's" when they mean to use "its". It's not too hard to use one of those words in its proper place. Can we make this edit tip #20? Please?

Professional LurkerI think you'd be better off taking this up on the Tips Worksheet. ETA: Turns out grammar in general is already on the worksheet; from the suggested tips:
Poor grammar makes for a degraded reading experience; horrible grammar may get deleted outright. Have a look at Tips on Grammar to at least get the most common blunders out of the way.

Dragon WriterThing is, it happens so damned often a lot of people don't freakin' know that it's even a grammar mistake at all. E.g:
There is no apostrophe in "his" or "hers", so don't go placing an apostrophe in "its" either. Use "it's" ONLY as shorthand for "it is".

Put it in the tips and correct it as you go. Direct the worst offenders to the grammar tips page. That is about the only thing you can do.
ThatawayWe shouldn't have to tell people how to use proper English, or that we expect it in wiki writing. Fix it whenever you see it, but in my experience people who don't know how to use its/it's properly won't learn from example, only by having it constantly corrected for them. The system doesn't know you right now, so no post button for you.
You need to Get Known to get one of those.
