Allosaurushat. The demon looked surprised as the arrow flung to it, but also something else. Impressed? Happy? Grateful? It let the shield dissipate as the spear flew towards it, focusing its energy on something else. The demon didn't even try to dodge when the spear got close. When the spear exploded, the demon went flying backwards into the wall. Literally. Instead of crashing into it and falling to the ground, it passed right through the wall, as if it were made of smoke. The explosion, meanwhile, had turned a dark purple colour and was much larger than Andel had intended. Some rubble went flying, and the explosion looked like it might put some of the students in danger.
In The Zone"Crafty demon" Andel muttered under his breath as the demon turned to smoke. Then he saw his arrow explode. "Dammit" Andel grunted as he dropped his focus on the demon's life force and focused all of his attention on creating a magical barrier to defend his fellow orbkeepers. This would be taxing but he was not going to let his own attack injure his allies. He hoped he had enough time to form it.
B-Ball is about to get real intense really soon.
okay byeeeeeBillie was set on following the demon until the explosion hit her, the force of it creating more cracks until her transformed form seemed to shatter into hundreds of pieces that withered and died away as they fell. She fell with them, no longer having claws to hold onto the ceiling, and hit the floor with only Andel's magic to stop her suffering any serious injuries. Still hurt like hell, and she groaned as she slowly got into a sitting position. "Merde!"
Allosaurushat.Fortunately, his empowering of his allies earlier in the fight proved to help as well. When the explosion met Andel's shield, it was weakened greatly and moved forwards, only to lose its energy when it hit the group in a flash of gold, fading away and leaving them without too major injuries. He felt the power he had granted his allies leave them as this happened. For anyone who may be confused by this, what happened is the demon corrupted the power that caused the explosion to occur, making the explosion more powerful. When it ran into more of Andel's power, its corruption was cured, and its power was reduced to normal. Because the explosion wouldn't have gone that far normally, it was destroyed. A bit wordy an explanation, I admit.

Mad PinoyPhoebus reeled back as the explosion hit, falling to the ground on his back.Getting up slowly, Phoebus shook the dizziness off as he picked up his spear, slghtly proud of his strike on the demon. Hefting his spear as he stood again in a ready position, Phoebus asked "Where'd it go? We can't lose it again!"
In The ZoneAndel, now feeling the fatigue set in greatly, reached out with his senses trying to locate where the demon was hiding. If it was still nearby he could direct the others to it still. "I'm trying to find it's life force now" Andel said as loud as he could muster but it was evident all this magic and orb using was taking its toll on him.
B-Ball is about to get real intense really soon.
Allosaurushat. The demon's life force was gone. However, through two walls was a strange life force, like a combination of a normal life and the twisted one that Andel had sensed with the demon the first time. After a second or two, the life force passed through another wall.
In The Zone"The demon is...missing, but whatever came here with it earlier or something like it is running through walls that way" Andel said and pointed in the direction he felt. Damn he was getting tired from this. If he could just latch on to that life force and channel the power into himself to get some of his strength back though putting life force into himself was more intensive and difficult in general. He coughed before speaking "we can't let this thing run free, shall we hunt it down like the demon it is?" Even tired and weakened as he was Andel was ready to lead the charge if he had to.
B-Ball is about to get real intense really soon.
Mad Pinoy"Don't worry, friend, " Phoebus said to Andel, concerned over his obvious fatigue. "Tell me where it's going, and I'll lead the way. Come on!" The warrior made his way in the direction Andel pointed, looking for a door that would get them past the wall and to the other side where the demon presumably was.
Allosaurushat. The nearest door was a bathroom that Andel was fairly certain the demon wasn't in, but the best option was the swordfighting classroom. Passing through it Phoebus managed to go straight north to reach the cafeteria, where the demon stood, surrounded by lines of shadow. When Phoebus entered the room, it struck the earth with the lines to create words on the ground. Soon comes blood With that, it jumped backwards through the cafeteria wall and vanished.
MS Paint? Hell Yeah!Vann was rather far from the explosion, so he was safe from it. It transpired so frighteningly fast. Truly, if every battle with demons were this vicious, Vann wasn't sure he could survive it until the end. Dismissing those dark thoughts aside, Vann felt the urge to ask Billie yet again whether she's fine (especially after that explosion; it looked like it hurt), but he figured that would be bugging her too much; and he still felt a bit guilty over that. With a deep breath, Vann exited his transformed mode. Vann gritted his teeth, why couldn't he do something? His reaction speed was too slow, he was doubting whenever there was an opening, would he hit his friends? Would he made the situation worse? Such questions prevented him from acting. He could've used the water bullets he formed to shield his allies, yet he cared more about his own safety. In his mind, Vann mumbled, "Fighting with others has never been so hard." It seemed that two or three Orbkeepers had left in pursuit of the demon, leaving Vann, Billie, and Carwyn. Vann refused to look at Billie for the moment, but he didn't know Carwyn that well, either. Then his attention fell upon the small ball of black liquid, floating two or three centimeters above ground near where the demon was. It was the liquid Vann attempted to lift, in his plan to use it against the demon. Most of the liquid had disappeared, but that small ball Vann took control was left with him. With slight curiosity, Vann quickly drew it to his palms.
Allosaurushat. It acted strange, somewhat solid yet somewhat liquid. It could stick to someone, and could flow slowly, but it was also tough enough that it would mostly stay the same shape when molded.
MS Paint? Hell Yeah! The liquid was similar to, for a better lack of a word, a very thick syrup, so thick that it's practically solid. Actually, Vann found that this kind of liquid was what he was looking for, a liquid that is dense by default. Because by controlling density (and viscosity) of a liquid, Vann exerted a lot of energy. Wondering what substance formed such a thing, Vann touched it with his hand in an attempt to exercise his technique to isolate liquid from any waste, which he had done many times to create pure water from seawater.
Allosaurushat. The result was that the liquid returned to a natural form, separating from many strange, possibly unnatural liquid and sludge. There were a few normal things mixed with it such as honey, but some of them looked most likely than anything like they were demonic in origin. A lot of the demonic ingredients could probably be found without too much difficulty, left behind from the demon invasion that had caused the Orbkeepers to form in the first place. It resembled a combination of demonic pollution, normal pollution, and cooking. Many of the things might have gotten mixed in by accident, but a lot of them looked like they must have been added intentionally.
Mad PinoyPhoebus yelled in frustration as the demon escaped through the wall again. Taking the time to scan the words it had written on the ground, Phoebus stood up again and tried to track the demon on his own, using his powers over heat and fire to see if there were any moving heat signatures past the wall. If the demon had no body heat, then Phoebus could look for moving areas that lacked heat.
MS Paint? Hell Yeah!Cooking, normal things and normal demonic things. Vann could only deduce that this was the demon's bodily fluids, a possibility he did not want to think about. Regardless, Vann took mental note of the materials, "who knows when it would come to use?" Vann noted. Then, without that in mind, he put the liquid in a small vial, intending to study it further later. Vann stood idly, thinking what to do next.

Allosaurushat. He felt the coldness of the demon, moving away rapidly. When it reached the charms at the edge of the academy that kept them from entering aboveground, he felt it just vanish. The cold increased as it did so, and he even felt it through the wall.
okay byeeeeeBillie eventually lifted herself off of the ground, rubbing her ribs when they protested. They had to be bruised at the least. No time to worry about that with the demon still alive. She got to her feet, intent on following the others in their search, but then paused and looked over at Vann. "Hey, you wanna come or you got something else to do?" She asked, slightly breathless.
MS Paint? Hell Yeah!Vann noticed Billie walking towards him, asking he would to do next. "I think... the demon had been taken care by the search team. You should rest, Billie." Vann said in a low voice. Vann could see it, Billie was in pain, and she was forcing herself yet again. "As for me... I think I'll take a short break." Vann said forcefully, trying to sound resolute. Honestly, he was ashamed to say that, because Billie, despite having injured, was still determined to find the demon. Vann turned without waiting for reply, and began walking away. Looking at Billie right now hurt him more than anything else, and he had endured that pain long enough. He would search that demon, too, and kill it personally. Vann was positive there existed a way to search for a demon's whereabouts using a part of them, which included that liquid Vann carried with him.
okay byeeeeeNormally Billie would have just protested and went off to find the demon anyway, but something about Vann's reply had seemed off. They had been friends for long enough that she could detect that much at least. "Hey, dude, you alright?" she asked, taking a few steps then placing a hand on his shoulder.
MS Paint? Hell Yeah!"I'm fine, not sure about tomorrow, though." Vann joked grimly, paying little heed to her tap upon his shoulders; he did stop, though. Billie had told him that he was a horrible liar, that was true, but being with Billie for some time now, her lying abilities had rubbed on him, and if there was a lesson he got from her, it would be that half-truths make the best lies. "Some things are to be taken care of, this includes my exhaustion, a stray demon, and your safety." Vann brushed her hand off, before continuing to the exit of the room.
okay byeeeeeBillie raised an eyebrow at Vann, before she turned her attention to a bruise flowering under her jacket sleeve. "You're getting better at lying, I'll admit that." What could he be lying about though? He clearly wasn't as okay as he was making himself out to be. Was he even going to bed? She wanted to go take out that demon before anyone else could, and she wasn't really the best at helping people emotionally, but... "Alright then. Contact me when you wake up later at least? If the others can fight then I can fight and I'm not missing out on getting some payback on that demon."
