Darling.

Gameplay walkthrough.

Aside from the silly name, it has a really interesting gameplay system that the lady explains really well. It seems to be becoming a potential sleeper hit.

Sidekick
I have a slight worrying fear that it'll be like the first Red Steel: a T/M-rated game that's intended to showcase the gimmicks of the new system, only to fail at being a game.

However, this is, after all, a very slight worrying fear. I don't mean to be a Debbie Downer here or anything.grin
Admittedly about fifty percent enlightenmentCaveman too.

I can't be the only one who finds the "become different survivors" aspect to be kind of like Space Station Silicon Valley, am I?

More gameplay

I love the 'Look out behind you' angle for when you're collecting supplies. Apparently you pick up stuff with the tablet while that's going on. So you're constantly looking up and down.

Don't let me go......
I wonder if the survivors are randomly generated or do you have a set of characters?

If it is the latter what happens when you run out??

That kindergarten is terrifying.

[up]It doesn't seem that the characters have real personality, so they could make quite a few.

Too much adorableness
The new character after death thing sounds like Rogue Survivor or A Valley Without Wind...former is closer since it's also zombie survival game...although roguelike one...

[up]Not everybody has a tablet though. Would it now be required or something? If so then I don't really think that's a good idea.

This one looks pretty promising so far. I'll definitely be keeping an eye on this for the Wii U launch.

Tried it out. Pretty fun game. Some idiot behind me was all like "It's too gimmicky, it forces you to do all that stuff with the Game Pad." I was this close to relpying with "Co D is so gimmicky, it forces you to press buttons on the controller."

Do you have to keep yourself nourished like in Fallout? That'd be really interesting.

So trope page mentions this game causing discussion about whether "real" survival horror games would be accepted by modern audience, but where is that discussion?

This is one of my Must Haves when I get the Wii U for Christmas! This and Mario of course. This game looks fun, regardless of the rating from IGN.

[up][up] All over the place I suppose. The negative reviews in general seemed like they expected an action horror game (with mowing down zombies by the dozen), whereas the positive reviews in general expected a survival horror game (with the zombies on top of the food chain).
