Looks like they're openly going back toward supernatural elements.

Hopefully there's no conspiracy bunk to make it more complicated than it needs to be.

I have to say... great ears. Seriously, no bullshit, those are great ears. I looked at the picture of the girl's face and that was the first thought I had in my head. I honestly think that not enough get ears right that it's refreshing to see them done right, or at the very least really well.

In-motion. Still somewhat in the valley but at least it looks like it's on its way out of it.

Wait, does this mean video games have finally reached a point where voice actors are as prominent in the gaming community as actors are in movies?

I mean, in the past some people might have a favorite voice actor or something, but have we reached the point where we can go "Starring so and so" and people recognize who they are?

Ellen Page IS a movie actor. That's the entire reason they are plastering her name on the game; it's a shallow attempt at gaining validation from people who think games should be movies.

Also, people recognize V As already. You're just not likely to see devs spouting "starring Nolan North".

Anyway, from the short clip of body possession, I'm guessing this isn't a QTE based adventure game like Fahrenheit or Heavy Rain were.

[up]I already knew that. It just seems to me that voice actors don't get the same prestige among fans that movie or tv actors get from their fans.

As in we don't care as much about voice actors.

I headdesked a lot during that clip. Anyone else headdesk a lot?

Like... of the two people in that scene, who do we care about more? Him or her? I'd say her, I mean, she's Ellen Page, her character's a mystery, and she's generating this amazing presence on screen. But the camera seems more in love with him? Why?

Plus, some awful expository dialogue.

Looks great, though. Plus, I'm really interested in seeing what someone of Page's calibre can do with that kind of technology applied to her. Mo-cap is almost as fascinating as early cinema in terms on enervation, but without the cultural milestone aspect. I wasn't certain that the cinematic body would be capable of projecting through the equipment, but it seems you just need more sensitive equipment that we had, and more sensitive actors than the equipment is usually exposed to. (I mean, for all that the actors in Heavy Rain could be competent and sympathetic, they're not A-grade.)

This post has been powered by avenging fury and a balanced diet.

[up]Nope, I found it pretty well made and acted, though I was wondering why didn't the officer give her a paper and pencil to write on. Cops typically do that with strangers they can't communicate with due to language issues, and also as a means of seeing if they're actually intelligent enough to communicate or are disturbed in some way.

yes please. I love Ellen Page.

Also voice actors aren't as prominent as TV/movie stars because their voices are famous, whereas the latters' faces are famous. People identify much better with faces than voices because humans are visual animals.

So it's a lot like Heavy Rain's system, only this time you can control movement during the fights. Not much of a big difference in the mechanics, really.

[up]Hard to imagine the SCP going out of their way to catch such a mundane specimen, especially when they normally deal with stuff that could drive an entire city insane or cause the end of the world. But if they did find out... I pity her, because the SCP is notoriously unfriendly when dealing with Mary Sues or everyday folk with supernatural abilities.

The SCP foundation had some pretty mundane stuff. They do have that whole "safe" classification after all.

I think I'll end up liking Heavy Rain more. The whole "Government hunting down super-powered young people" thing has gone stale.

Cautiously optimistic, it does look grossly generic.
