(probably) a dumb question: why can I not see everything on a page?:

Why is it that when I'm reading a trope and I go to the examples key parts are cut out of entries? I do understand that it's for spoilers but I can't find any way to disable this ( if there is one). Can some one help?

There's an option on your profile to disable spoilers. If you want to view the text of just one, then highlight it.

I see the Awesomeness.
You can also highlight them with your mouse.
The system doesn't know you right now, so no post button for you.
You need to Get Known to get one of those.
