Just since the last several [posts were about how awful they both were during the game (mostly Kirigiri) made me think that. Maybe it's a "they're both so awful they deserve each other" kind of thing.

As for me, I like Naegi x Kirigiri.

What just because were willing to heavily criticize some of the characters actions that means we don't like them entirely?

Apparently, there is some doubt there, because Makoto doesn't want to share. Saying "Not until I'm certain" is exactly a step up from what Kyoko did, since she had no intention of sharing her secret whatsoever, so the ball is in her court.

My opinion on the two characters?

Their actions in chapter four infuriate me to no end... But I still like Kyoko, and Makoto isn't that bad.

It's similar to my opinion on Byakuya. I think he's a good antagonist/rival, but his actions in the second cased?

It completely ruins his character, so I just ignore it.

The thing with Kyoko is that we weren't supposed to think she was right in those instances. That was the whole point of her character development.

And yes, I do like Makoto x Kyoko. It sure beats the heck out of shipping him with Mukuro.

I still don't understand why Makoto's decision to keep quiet about Oogami could be seen as infuriating when he was just being careful. He was afraid of what would happen if people (including Kirigiri because he couldn't take any chances) knew about her, and everyone's reaction to Monokuma's fourth motive only proved that he was right to be scared.

AT LEAST IKUSABA DIDN'T LURE MAKOTO INTO A TRAP WHERE HE COULD GET KILLED FOR THE SAKE OF AN INVESTIGATION.

PLUS, SHE'S THE PERFECT BODYGUARD FOR A PETITE ANGEL LIKE MAKOTO.

I do ship Kiriegi though, with Kirigiri showing her remorse for using Makoto by protecting him at all costs.

Well that is what ended up happening with Kyoko but... did you miss the part where Mukuro is part of the Ultimate Despair? Because that's far worse than anything Kyoko did.

Huh I thought Mukuro was somewhat decent & had a crush on Makoto, what was with her in D3? Its gonna be weird reading IF with the knowledge that she's nothing more than Junko's fucking attack dog.

She was already part of SHSL Despair before she even knew of Makoto's existence, so that doesn't count.

What do you mean? It was made explicitly clear in DRIF and DR0 that Ikusaba had committed countless heinous atrocities as Enoshima's attack dog/right-hand man. Neither her divine taste in waifus nor her lack of any actual desire for despair can change that fact.

Knowing how much I actually keep up with pre-release info for most games, I don't think I'm going to have anyone's name memorized for V3 until the game actually comes out.

I'm a mod for a Danganronpa blog, I should be better than this.

Anyone else find it strange that the character who is supposed to be the most average guy ever and wants to be special is born on the 2nd (3rd if you count February 29) least common birthday instead of the most (September 16th)?

(The least common birthday is December 25, by the way. We need a character with that birthday, but what kind of character would it be?)

I doubt we will have a Christmas-born character because the Despair Sisters already have their birthdays on Christmas' Eve.

So we have some English release information from PSX! The translated title will be Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony and it will be release in 2017.

Interesting. Will it be released on Steam?

Probably not for a long time. The previous games have been doing well there, but PC gamers are a niche demographic in Japan, where it counts.

Maybe, but if they're doing well, might that mean that they'll be willing to release them there sooner?

I really hope Tenko isn't like Mahiru. I didn't like Mahiru that much because she was all "Men aren't supposed to be afraid" and all those society gender standards. (I bet Mahiru would hate Chihiro)

I really doubt she's going to be like Mahiru though. The line she said just stood out to me like "OMG Mahiru"

I'm sure the Killing Harmony has to do with Kaede's talent in some way, heheh.

Also damn Tenko's misandry is apparently worse than Mahiru's. While may be rude at least she doesn't flip any guy that comes close to her. Were very lucky we have a girl as a protag cause Tenko sounds like the kind of person whos nearly impossible to talk to if you were a guy.

I'm liking the maid girl more that I've seen her in-game sprite. She looks really prettier.

I doubt that Tenko's sexism will be brushed off like Mahiru's. Unlike Mahiru, her misandry is a central part of her character and extreme enough to color all of her interactions—both with boys and girls—so they're going to have to explain how she got it and show her getting over it, otherwise she will be totally obnoxious whenever she has to interact with boys during the class trials. Either she develops or she dies early, because it's too big to write around long.

I think they could justify her misandry especially with her talent. She would be annoying to talk to though. When I saw her I thought she would be the genki (like Ibuki), but that was taken up by Usagi (this was when just the designs were leaked and I knew nothing about the characters).
