Basically write a typical Pink Panther movie with the typical bumbling Clouseau plot. But introduce insane monkey Lupin and his team, and Zenigata of course.

Of course, the challenge is to have Clouseau winning at the end by demonstrating both Spanner in the Works and Obfuscating Stupidity, while Zenigata has been competent and energetic all along, and still failed to stop Lupin as usual (though he'll probably catch an entirely different bad with Lupin's help), and while Lupin keeps showing his absolutely spectacular panache.

Why would you think that would be a good idea?

IIRC a Clouseau Expy already showed up once in the Lupin anime, in an episode with a lot of Shout Outs to the PP (giggle) movies.

Where?

It's more likely Closseau would end up catching someone else unrelated to Lupin while thinking they were him, possibly because of Lupin's help.

I mean, Zenigata has failed far, far more times than him, and he still hasn't caught Lupin permanently.
