Katahane - Feedback Wanted:

"Of course, Satsuki-sama."
It might be too late for a defense, but I think I'll point out that all the characters are eighteen or older. In addition, it's mostly down to the art style that the characters look young.

On top of that, of the pictures provided as a reason to cut, not only have I seen girls with that kind of body type who're over eighteen, but...

Well, her build really isn't all that different from my own.
"Oh, dear. The toad, the monkey, and the dog have all screwed up."
I would put more stock in that defense if she actually acted her age. The girl I linked to acts like she's about fourteen despite being centuries old.

Having spoken to people who've played the entire game, they maintain that she acts quite mature.

If what you say is true, how, exactly, does she "act fourteen"?

I have had the extreme pleasure of playing this game all the way through, and I have to say I think most of you are missing the point completely.

I believe the art style point has already been brought up, as well as the fact that the character's age is greater than she appears, so I won't drone on about that.

Instead, I will say that it is unfair to chop a game based on the appearance of one character, especially when most of you have not played the game in its entirety. It is a beautiful game with a unique and inventive plot, great characters and wonderful interaction. Their appearances may not be the most mature, but I think their mental ages make up for it.

She rarely 'acts fourteen'. She is one of the most mature characters in the visual novel, with an interesting back-story that explains her advanced maturity, as well as her bouts with childishness.

If you want to 'damn' a game for 'pedo-pandering', please be aware that not everyone who views the novel is a 'pedo', nor do we want to see 'lolitits'. Small breasts does not instantly equal pedophilia, on that note.

Some of us want to enjoy the beautiful story and the interesting characters.

Obviously, I vote no-cut.

Well, that, combined with the sex scenes, isn't exactly make the work all less... well, you now.
She acts like a quiet fourteen year old. She's reserved and a little aloof, but she isn't notably more mature than the people she hangs out with, who are all teenaged humans. She's just calmer. She gets stage fright, is emotionally insecure and is the surrogate daughter of an old man that is technically far younger than she is. She's mentally a teenager.

The girl that Septimus linked is your typical brash tsundere who can't be honest about how she feels and gets upset over everything.

^^ I have read it in its entirety. I actually helped construct the article. It breaks our guidelines, plan and simple.* It might not have been written with pedobait in mind, but that doesn't save it.

I really see no reason to continue this discussion at this point. Pedoshit it is. Hollering for a lock.

Thumped for switching the discussion from the topic to a person. Doesn't take many of this kind of thump to bring a suspension. Stay on the topic, not the people in the discussion.

Descending to ad hominem isn't a great idea. It's not going to save the work and it'll get you yelled at. Stuff I like will probably get cut too. You'd be better off trying to save what can be saved.

I don't mind getting yelled at. I'm not here to make friends. I'm here to be upset at the blatant insults towards a game I'm fond of that doesn't deserve such treatment.

Also I was unaware being 'emotionally insecure' makes you a child. I thought most people were that way, at least at times.

Emotional Insecurity = being a child? Interesting.

[up][up]Do you want to have a discussion or are you just being bitter that stuff you like turns out to be reprehensible filth? Feel free to air your grievances in the main Content Violations thread. No fucks will likely be given by me.

I would like to have a discussion about something that not everyone views as filth, sir. I find your blatant insults towards something you refuse to investigate yourself or understand detestable and ignorant.

You allow your biases to color your decisions, and that is not how anyone in a seat of power should behave.

Martello is not the only one voting against the game. It is not appropriate for the wiki. Your own personal feelings on the game are yours alone. Do not attack members of P5 again or you will be removed from Content Violations.

[up][up][up]Well now you're just being rude. She's defending a work she loves, is that a problem for you?

Wait when did she attack him?

Adults can have emotional insecurities, but what she worries about is standard teenager stuff.

And even if you aren't here to make friends, you're making it so no one will take you seriously.

I apologize for 'attacking', I just don't agree with his behavior. I do not mean to insult all the members of P5, so please do not take it as such.

Welp, this thread has officially ran its course. Let's lock this and call it a day, hm?

But you are going after just one member when he's not the only one that has voted against it. Komodin has also disapproved.

The system doesn't know you right now, so no post button for you.
