Awesome/ and AwesomeMusic/: edited 23rd May '12 5:16:47 PM by movie007 ![]() Kvltvre Vvltvre
Underused? Last time I checked, Nightwish's page for Awesome Music was literally a list of every song they have. The whole Awesome namespace is pretty much a list of anything anyone thinks is cool in anything, and can't be cleaned for fear of violating No Negativity.

The Awesome Music namespace is mostly suited to original music, because it's more easily noticed. You're more likely to think "omg that song is awesome! I need to tell the world about how awesome it is!" when listening to a CD than a movie soundtrack, because there are other things going on. But since contemporary music tends to focus less on the story behind it, and more on the actual music, of course music is underrepresented here, and so is the Awesome Music namespace. At least compared to the other Awesome namespaces, which are abhorrently bloated to begin with.

An Awesome Music entry that consists of, "Literally every song in this [album/soundtrack], " or actually lists out every song on an album/soundtrack, is missing the point of the namespace and could be considered unrestrained Gushing. I would say that it's fine to trim them.

You need to Get Known to get one of those.
