It wasn't that great anyways, though I did like some of the side characters. Like the version of the Goblin in that one.

I liked Pete's suit.

[up][up]And yet Jonny Test is still going, and that show is much worse than 'not that great'.

Unlimited was long before either Johnny Test or Spectacular Spider-Man. It came out of the 90s after the previous Spider-Man cartoon ended.

It'd be neat to see Spectacular get into some of Spidy's alternate costumes, like maybe the one from Unlimited.

[up]Uh, you mean Ultimate SM, because Spectacular was already canceled.

I just didn't get the Unlimited comment in regards to the Carnage!Gwen idea.

[up] Uh… I thing he meant the nano tech suit from Spider Man Unlimited.

Word of God Is that Hobby and Scorpion would have returned, being the only villains to have arcs planned before the show was cancelled, but Greg refuses to comment on whether Carnage would have appeared.

[up]Actually, the latest podcast interview with Weisman confirms Carnage and Hydro-Man for season three.

I would've liked to see if Peter and Eddie could've fixed their tattered friendship, especially since Eddie Brock becomes an anti-hero in the comics as well as the 90s animated series.

I also would've liked to see Sally Avril undergo character development.

FYI, someone compiled everything said about future plans for the show, third season and beyond. Read the comments since there's some additions in them.

I think Sally was definitely going to get some development. We already knew she didn't hate Peter THAT much when she got worried that he might've died.

I know Eddie was Peter's former friend, but I think I would've been okay with him staying a villain. I've never been a huge fan of anti-hero Venom and this Eddie already shows he doesn't care about anyone caught in the crossfire between him and Peter.

Nice list, now I'm more depressed than ever that show was cancelled.

[up][up] Grrrrrr, stop making me want them to revive the show via Disney+...

They already went on the record to say it can't be done due to legal issues. sad

[up]Do you really think Disney would even try to revive it if they had the option to do so?

At this point, they are probably planning the next Spider-Man show as Marvel's Spider-Man takes its last breaths.

Wake me up at your own risk.

[up][up] I mean, they gave Star Wars: The Clone Wars a proper end, which no one saw coming.

[up] Yeah, that's probably the more realistic scenario. tongue

Yeah, it's technically not impossible, since Disney/Marvel and Sony are collaborating when it comes to Spider-Man movies, games, etc. It's just that the former has no incentive, since they'd be paying Sony for the rights when they can just make their own show independent from Sony.

We just have to wait for Disney to buy Sony.

Sony would have to majorly devalue itself just so they can't yell "MONOPOLY!!"

Since Sony still has movie rights could they just continue this series as a series of films?

[up] I...actually don't know.

(I misread your post, so I had to do a complete rewrite.)

[up][up] It's not impossible, but it really depends on what Sony wants to do.

FYI, the show was removed from Crackle recently. It was the only streaming service where it was available, so we don't know where it'll head.
