The current one is better than nothing, but I think whether or not there is room for improvement is worth discussing. I chose that image in the YKTTW for this trope, which in turn was created based on this thread. I had recently watched Dolphin Tale at the time, so it happened to come to mind quickly as a source of potential images. It was called "playful dolphin" at the time, so I figured showing Winter grabbing a toy would be sufficient, but it seems less so with the new name.
Bumping, as this thread seems to have fallen behind in the past few days.
Anime-tedIf we can't find a pic of this from a media source, then a pic of a dolphin doing something with a human at Sea World would be better than nothing.

Here's a google image search of it. Before we decide what image to go for, we should have an idea what we're looking for in a page image.
Teutonic Tomboy T-GirlI like this image, because it shows a human and a dolphin clearly "playing" together (as opposed to being fed or somesuch), and both human and dolphin look like they're smiling. Actually, looking at the other images in that series, there are a bunch of good candidates, as well as (unrelated to this trope, but super-cute) pictures of Anna Paquin with a penguin.

The main gist of the trope is dolphins, prefereably wild untrained ones, interacting with humans in a friendly, playful manner. This scene is a good example from a media source though I'm not entirely happy with the quality of the screen shots. If we don't want to use them for the main page, maybe they'd do for an Image Links page.

TerradorablyfyingI like the second one best; the quality is fine to me.

Second one looks like Marshmallow Hell. (Not even sure whether that's a guy or a girl, I'm just saying what it looks like out of context.)
I'm not sure where you are getting Marshmallow Hell from. It is a boy riding a wild dolphin (in-universe, obviously they used trained dolphins for filming).

I'm just saying what it looks like.
I don't think it looks like Marshmallow Hell (given that it's a fin), but I'd prefer one where we can see the dolphin's head.
Well, different people will look at it differently. The blur makes it look like it's a dolphin's head at first glance. (Granted, taking a closer look makes it clearer that it isn't, but still...) But yeah, getting to see the dolphin's head helps too.

Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel.
Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.
serial tweaker, sorryI like 6.1 best so far.
please don't capitalize my handle. I just don't like it.
6.1 is good.
Anime-tedNot much consensus for 6.1, but since the clock's up and people seem to have issues with 6.2, I went ahead and put 6.1 up. Locking up.
The system doesn't know you right now, so no post button for you.
You need to Get Known to get one of those.
