Hello. I'm sorry if this isn't in the correct place, but I need to report an issue I came across a couple of hours ago.
Anytime I tried to access a tvtropes page (ANY tvtropes page) I was redirected to some sort of Go Daddy page where it said the tvtropes.org domain is avalaible. The URL I was redirected to was
here
.
For some reason this affected two of my personal computers even after I deleted my cookies, and I had to log-in with my cell-phone, delete my cookies there and create a new "Getting Known" account. Then the site began working again for my old account (the one I'm posting with here).
Obviously, it's not affecting me now, but I figured I should let someone know about this.
And I have to ask: This wasn't the result of a ban, was it?
Thank you for your time.

Yikes. Seems to be cleared up. We were adding a secondary dns provider tonight. Maybe it got confuzzled for a minute or two. Anyway. Had nothing to do with a ban.
Goal: Clear, Concise and Witty
Fast One: would it have something to do with .com vs. .org issues?
Thank you very much for explaining! I gotta say, I was really freaking out there.
He did say 'org'.

True. I must've missed that. I just figured that would be a place to investigate regarding the dns and issues related.
I think it had to do with adding the secondary dns service. Little propagation hiccup.
