I'm sorry, but is this a joke? Who in their right mind would consider the couple in the current image to be elderly?
I rather like the top half of this◊
image from The Golden Girls
was my first choice, but unfortunately, it was the biggest one I could find).
Current picture for reference:
Well, they're sort of Hollywood Elderly
... The image is also rather high quality.
However, I prefer the suggestion.
I can tell that Adama and Ross are older, but the top half of the OP suggestion is better at actually showing the trope.
They might be older, but not OLD. This trope seems to suggest white haired, wrinkled people and these people look like they're in their 50s, at most (the woman could pass for being in her 40s).

So is this for any old couple, or just a couple who met when they were old?
"I even like the idea of a nice man who sees me when I'm sleeping and knows when I'm awake. And that man is Barack Obama
." - Bill Maher
I think it's supposed to refer to characters who fell in love at an older age. However, at the risk of igniting JAFAAC or "Does Not Illustrate" arguments, I think that showing the elderly couple without any context that they fell in love later in life would probably be OK.
Here's the picture cropped:
Perhaps this thread will actually get some responses if I suggest a few more images?
Another Golden Girls
And I think that live action images would work best here, but here are a whole bunch from The Simpsons

I like that Golden Girls one — it shows they aren't merely an elderly couple who have always been together since youth.
? (the applicable panel should be obvious)
Belief or disbelief rests with you.
Yes...amusing, but yes.
Yeah, it's probably a bit much. Funny, though.
A few Real Life
images (because the current image is still driving me nuts). I found these using the terms "elderly couple marriage" and "elderly couple wedding":
My favorite:
Now that it's obvious that these couples got together later in life, can we finally pick something? I know I'm being pushy, but the couple in the current image doesn't even look old enough to get the senior discount at Hometown Buffet! Not to mention that these images will provide many more amusing and clever captions.

Since I can't look at any of the suggestions right now - do we have enough good ones for a crowner?

I think so. Gonna agree with redhed 311, 14.1 is best of that batch. (Direct link
, since it probably won't stay on that site's page 2 forever.)

14.1 shows two very clearly elderly people getting married happily; I prefer it to the others in this thread. At 300px:
Bump; any other thoughts?
17 is great.

Good enough. It's up and tagged; caption at will. Locking up.
