Is referring to the page image or quote considered kosher?: ![]() In all things, balance.
For instance, the Futurama quote and example on Get a Room!:
Bender: Get a room, you two!
Man: We are in a room.
Bender: Then lose some weight.

Please don't refer to the page quote or image in the example list. People changing these generally don't look down the page.
Well, Little Britain thinks it's a different country.
![]() When a page image is changed, it is sort of rare for the editor to also look for example references to it, though perhaps that should be more common;.
Emphasis mine. Image changes are typically expected to be discussed in the forums, with whether or not the image gets captioned and/or potholed also based on the thread, and maybe having comment code added along with the new image... "search for references to the previous image" hardly seems like that much more to add to the list.

Terradorablyfying
Also, it isn't always easy to spot a reference to the page quote/image; sometimes it's mentioned in places other than that work's entry in the example list. There isn't a reliable key to use the "find" function for, either.
Let the wine of friendship never run dry. *shluuurp* ![]() In all things, balance.
So, consensus appears to be "not kosher." In that case, should I remove already-existent references I happen across?

The system doesn't know you right now, so no post button for you.
You need to Get Known to get one of those.
