This picture was posted for Autocannibalism and got removed by someone without evident discussion because it was "disturbing". So.. agree? Disagree? Got any better suggestions?

The Ourobouros is a very heavily symbolic image that would not fit at all on this page.

Fun fact: "anthropophagous" means "human-eating" (anthropo- = human, -phage = eater).

I don't like the snake image at all. That symbol is supposed to convey rebirth, serenity, the circle of life, all those positive emotions. At least that's what I get from it. But the trope should invoke disgust and shock from the audience, not peace.

How about on of those old cartoons. I remember on one of them <I think it was Tom and Jerry> that a character put there hand <or tail> in between two pieces of bread and bite it, that could be used.

Permission is not an insurmountable wall. Just ask. Often don't get it though.

In my limited experience, people don't generally refuse permission, but some just don't respond, so we aren't able to use the image. In this case, I'm having a hard time figuring out how to contact the artist, except maybe in the Comments section of this page, but I don't know if that'd be checked.
