All Purpose Kamen Rider Fanfic Thread

So Takatora Kureshima had the potential to be a big player in the battle for the forbidden fruit. He just had the problem of never knowing it existed. His friend, Sengoku Ryouma let him in the dark about both the Overlords, and the fruit, because Takatora expressed a desire to push forward the mass production of the Drivers first.

But what if he hadn't? If Ryouma had been a few seconds quicker, or Takatora had let him speak first, what would have happened?

He was the strongest of the Riders in pure skill, barring Ryouma (who blatantly cheated, Oren (who was the strongest of the non-genesis riders), and of course, Kouta. If he'd been clued in to the fruit a little earlier, he might have even attracted the attention of Sagara / Helheim.

What do you guys think? Takatora as a player in the battle for the fruit, possibly with Ryouma (and by default, Yoko) backing him?

Okay, so, like I mentioned in the Nanoha thread, I'm in the process of rewriting a series of fanfics with a friend of mine, starting with a Kamen Rider Wizard/Persona series/Kamen Rider Gaim crossover (with elements of BlazBlue in it... so far it's just Jubei). The first story has 20 chapters planned out of 110 (counting prologue and epilogue), while the sequel (which is a Kamen Rider W/Persona series/Kamen Rider Drive crossover) only has 13 chapters, with none of them planned out yet... and that's not going into the side stories my friend and I decided to write to go with them.

Anyone interested in seeing the list of characters so far?

One very simple nail to go with to have a more proactive Takatora is to have him actually bother to read the background checks that Sid did on the Beat Riders. Seeing that his brother is involved that early, he immediately clear his schadule to explain the situation to his little bro and even try to convince him to get his friends to stop with the whole dancing thing before things get messy.

Mit-chi, who may or may not have heard what happened to Yuuya from his brother, then gives a very abridged version of the situation to Kouta, who becomes a little less wary of Yggdrasil but still try to figure out what happened to his missing friend.

Also, while considering the Mai as Gaim idea posted somewhere else , I couldn't help but consider some of amifications:

-Mitsuzane would probably snap sooner due to Mai getting directly involved with danger. If anything, the stress of having her go against Yggdrasil would drive him up walls. Mai have almost the same moral compass as Kouta, all things considered.

-Without being stuck with a dead-end part time job as super hero, Kouta can focus on truly important things, like making money with honest jobs. May or may not end up as an intern on Yggdrasill (it's coin flip as whatever or not he would know about their involvement with Invess attacks and the Helheim before getting the job) and snag a mass produced Sengoku Driver when shit hit the fan. He may be even the first one to figure out about Yuuya's demise by confronting Takatora about it.

-Mai's interaction's with Kaito would probably go differently, now that she can back up her arguments with actions that make sense from his twisted worldview and judicious amounts of blunt trauma if they ever come to blows.

-Oren would probably the worst enemy Mai could face. Not only is he someone she looks up to somewhat, he's also a hell of fighter compared to everybody else. It would be a epic showdown as much as heartfelt debate about the differences between pros and amateurs.

I just realized... Kamen Rider Drive is set in the same continuity as Kamen Rider G. It's shown in the 0th and last episodes of Drive.

Taking all things into account and being fair and impartial, I can honestly conclude that out of all Kamen Riders, Showa and Hisei, Kamen Rider Black had the best motorcycle.

Well, Showa's Kamen Riders usually are shot in places where trail/ Off-road bike reign supreme, so, naturally, that's the kind of bike most guys use. That, and off-road bikes= manly man stereotype.

Heisei's Kamen Riders are shot during the time where gravel road are practically nonexistent in Japan, and regular, asphalted road are ubiquitous. And kids are supposed to like sleeker designs, so there's that.

So......

Kamen Rider vs Predator?

Or maybe a Predators style set up where a number of Riders are summoned to another world for a hunter?

Just got bitten by a plot bunny about a Kingdom Hearts cross.

Basically, Diend stopped in a nondescript world for a few days to recover from a particularly nasty battle. With nothing to do, he decides to see the sights of the place. It is then that he meets a girl. The two of them quickly become friends, then something more, but with his wounds healing and wanderlust kicking in, Kaito makes it clear that he's leaving. The break up and goodbye are mostly painless, but heartfelt.

Years later, Kaito decides on a whim to pass by that world again, it's then that things get weird. You see, the girl he met had a kid, and some quick mental gymnastics quickly make it obvious that the kid's age match with the time he spent a night together with the mother. The kid's name? Sora◊.

Kaito had one long, awkward conversation about it. Seeing as the woman had already moved on and married someone else, he leaves, but comes back from time to time because the gnawing feeling that he fucked up keeps him awake at night sometimes.

It is in one of those visits that he finds the wreckage of a broken world and a gigantic creature of darkness◊ staring him down. The following roaring rampage and the journey to figure out what's going on is what this idea is all about.

that… sounds like a plot for one of their non-serial movies, like the first Gaim movie.

That was the only weird movie, since it's completely irreconcilable to the series canon, and the show was actually pretty good about continuity.

Unless you buy the headcanon that the Blood Orange Lockseed slowly tainted Micchy's mind.

That Kamen Rider / Shin Megami Tensei idea I've been talking about for years. I've been doing research by watching lots of Rider shows (Golgom riot POLITICAL STATEMENT) and checking out some stuff from Shin Megami Tensei as well.

I finished Devil Survivor 2 and Digital Devil Saga (the first part) and will be checking out the Part Two soon enough. I am also taking of checking out both version of Persona 2 as well, and maybe even the very first Shin Megami Tensei.

Meanwhile, some vague ideas have been forming. There's still some stuff I need to check out before I do it, so it's a long time away, but I haven't given up on it.

Also gonna cross post that Amazons fanfic I had.

So I just had a random thought:

Take the villains of one Rider series, and put them in another Rider series, and see how everything fares.

For instance, what if the Roidmunde of Kamen Rider Drive were the ones fighting Emu and company?

As with far too many of my ideas, this came about for a dumb reason that boils down to what happens if Medic and Asuna / Popipipapo try and beat each other up?

Hello everybody! I've heard of this thread before, but only decided to drop by now because, honestly, I haven't written a fic in ages but I love discussing and brainstorming ideas anyway, so here we go, I guess.

Well, one thing I kept thinking of ever since Decade ended and got stronger after watching more series, is that his concept of traveling through dimensions to fix them could be expanded to become more like Exiles, with different takes on known Riders and worlds and the dynamics among them, with more control over how deep you want to explore a concept and, if you like a particular idea enough, you have a potential standalone material. That sounds too obvious so I don't know if that was explored before, but yeah.

I suppose it could work. I mean, the two concepts are actually surprisingly similar.

I've recently had a bizarre urge to write a Young Justice/Kamen Rider Zi-O fic, where Geiz tries to recruit the league to hell him kill Sougo, and everyone understandably wondering if he has the right guy when they meet him. And THEN Sougo starts talking about how he wants to be a king, and it gets slightly more plausible this is the right guy...

So, I've been reading this fic that crosses over Ryuki and a doll line called Ever After High.

Though what interests me is the Ryuki riders being the Knights of the Round Table.

So… random thought after bingeing a LOT of Bloodborne videos on You Tube: a Gaim/Bloodborne crossover/fusion thingy.

Because Ryouma is TOTALLY Micolash-y.

The Overlords get upgraded to unknowable cosmic horrors that don’t give a damn about humanity, Helheim becomes a nightmare dimension that is Don't Go in the Woods incarnate, and SOMEONE becoming some kind of space god/Ascension Great One is still totally justified.

Heck, the crossover with To Qger crossover is even totally justified, since the To Qger’s are basically in a waking dream…
