Ok here it goes

• Name: Evan Malandros, also known as “The Wanderer”
• Side: Non-registration
• Physical Appearance: A lean caramel skinned young man with unkempt white shoulder length hair and rather pale blue eyes. Usually seen in loose light clothes, yet always barefoot
• Personality: A rather relaxed, easy-going, lazy, man. Claustrophobic because of his powers and upbringing. As far as his sense of justice goes it goes just tries help whoever seems in danger or in trouble in front of him.
• Powers:
  • The Path: since birth Evan has been taught a ritual initiated martial art called The Path, which involves the corporal energy and its interactions with the worldly energies. It should be noted that Evan’s training is incomplete as of now but he could fill the blanks on his own. This derives into the following abilities
    • Wall/Ceiling Walking: The primary and baseline ability The Path trained him in. This allows him to treat any solid surface as if he were running, walking, standing or sitting on regular horizontal grounds. His weight and pressure is still applied on said surface
    • Impact suppression: Via The Path he can partially reduce his own momentum in mid-air to reduce his force of impact on the surface he aims to land on.
    • Partial Paralysis/gravity shift: With a swift alteration on another one’s corporal energies, usually conducted with an open palm strike, he can root the body of another person into a surface for a limited amount of time.
• Other Skills:
  • Agility and Acrobatics: developed hand-in-hand with The Path to the improvement and understanding of his abilities.
• Background/Origin: Evan was born with another name, in another land on another plane of existence. He was part of a downtrodden noble family devoted to The Path, and he was initiated into it as a small child. His childhood, while certainly colored by his training, has joyful. That was until he knew of the more advanced stages of the Path and the joyless life they brought on. He ran away in search of his freedom, and that worked for a while. Yet his past demons caught up with him and he was brought to his family. He was put on trial, and he was exiled to a barren plane of existence… or so was the plan, Evan altered the ritual and he was jettisoned to another destination: This earth.

Name: Sora

Side: Registered

appearance: Perhaps I could draw one and upload it but for now- he is tall, blonde haired and tan- asian , like your avaerage animae character. He prefers to wear light coloured clothes and is usually seen with a T Shirt and jeans.

However when he assumes his vigilante identity he dresses completely in black along with a black long coat with crimson lines along the sleeves- he also wears a somewhat creepy mask with just ines and no obvious eye holes.

Personality: He is your local optimist, cheerful and smiles alot- he tends to be rash in his judgement but usually has the skill to get himself out of trouble. However, piss him off and he'll seem more like a walking terminator. There is actually a flipside to his personality, not Another personality, its just a personality that he's always had: When he assumes his vigilante identity he turns out to be a cold blooded killer- there is no mercy to be found in him when he's 'doing his job'.

Powers:

Incredible reaction speed- like spiderman and all those other guys that have the speed to dodge bullets, Sora is able to dodge with great agility.

Time accel: This puts a huge strain on him but he is able to slow doen time for himself in 5 second chunks- this means he is able to move freely for 5 seconds while the world around him is going at a fraction of its normal pace, how slow the world around him goes depends on how much effort he puts into the accel and it does have physical consequences for him if he pushes himself- of course he doesn't spam this, he can't- he is unable to accelerate himself more than 3 times a day.

Other Skills:

An expert in hand to hand combat, Sora prefers to use a normal japenese combat blade- this aspect combined with his reaction speed makes him what we would call a Ninja.

History:

Sora is a born and bred government experiment purposed for the single cause of eliminating other superpowered beings should the government view them as a threat. For a while- 9 years or so- he was allowed to live a normal life since the government saw no point of using him while the super heros were actually being usefull but now after the incident he is called back to resume his role as Reaper, a vigilante that tracks down and kills non registered or anti government super powered people.

Sora over the nine years has aquired a bit of personailty for himself- the happy chappy personality he's known for at high school; mainly it was to counteract the side with which he was born with- the machine personality that he was trained to have. It has been a while since he's actually done his job so even though he follows orders he may be slightly hesitant.

sanojutsu&biomechtraveler: The both of you are accepted. However, in biomechtraveler's case, on one condition; I'm going to have to have you downgrade that 'timestop' ability to only one use an In-RP day; otherwise, it would be too powerful within the confines of the RP. I had similar issues with another player, Replica, who wanted a similar ability. You'll still be able to use it, but only every so often. Is this okay?

Im not new to R Ping but im new to this site. A friends in this and told me to join.

Name: Voldon Kriester (Tagger)

Side: Non-Registered

Physical Appearance: Tagger is young, but looks older than he is. While he is only 18 most people peg him around (or over) 20 years old. He stands at 5'11" (6'3" with his skates on) and has about the same body shape and build of most kids his age. His jawline is defined and his chin narrow. He has thick eyebrows and has short hair, dyed jet-black.

Clothing: He is almost always seen wearing his green zip-up hoodie, (which is his favorite) it has a few rips in it near the stitching of the zipper, but is in mostly good condition. Other than that he is seen in a variety of skinny corduroy pants, and T-Shirts. (mostly band shirts) He also wears a single strap (grey with a little orange) backpack on his back that he can easily flip to his front side and peruse through.

Personality: Tagger is a generally happy guy. As long as your not a douche, and dont infringe on anyone else's rights, he treats you just fine. He taunts his enemies and opponents constantly, even in the face of death, and seems to think all of his jokes are hilarious even if they aren't at all. He doesn't take pride in killing, but doesn't feel bad if it's necessary.

Other Skills: Tagger is a very talented skater one of the best in the world. He is also an extremely talented graffiti artist and uses this to illustrate the oppression of government. He skates everywhere he goes, and often even sleeps in his skates. He is decent at using technology, and has had to use computers to steal information. He has been in dozens of fights; from fist fights, to wrenches, to guns, so he has some experience with combat. He knows a fight he isn't going to win, and doesn't take shame in fleeing.

Background/Origin: Voldon wasn't raised in Megalopolis. He was raised in another city far away, that was very riddled with crime and corruption. Raised only by his poor, drug addict, mother, he joined a small street gang when he was 13. They had invented razor skates (skates that can skate on any surface), the gang fought the corrupt government/police force and spread anti-government propaganda. He did nothing but skate and graffiti for several years, and when he was 16 he was number two in the gang. The members of the gang voted that he become the leader, and the present leader (Shred [Tagger always thought the name was stupid]) was irate. He left and weeks later tipped off a group of police to arrest all of the remaining gang. Voldon wasn't home and one of the men came into his house, and when his mother panicked the cop killed her. Voldon came home as the cop was leaving. When he saw his mother dead he grabbed the gun he had in his room and chased after the man and killed him. He fled the city and moved to Megalopolis where there was no record of him, and took home in an large abandoned loft of a building, that had a bell tower on top. After making a new a better version of razor skates he started his fight against crime and corruption, under the name Tagger, in this new city-home of his.

Miscellaneous Notes: Tagger's razor skates are the last pair around since the rest of the gangs were taken. His new version can skate on any surface, and even up walls when he's going fast enough. The skates have tiny (near microscopic) claws on the bottom and sides of the blades that dig into the material and excel the wearer faster and farther forward. At a glance they look like futuristic ice-skates but up close the blades appear moving, almost fluid, like a million tiny ants. They lock and fit perfectly to his feet for total comfort, so his feet never get tired, and release from the feet with a simple twist on the back of the skates. He has gone as fast as hitting mach 1 one his skates, and can reach speeds of around 30mph with only a few pushes. His skates can also be used as a weapon for kicking, and have proved extremely lethal. He has a blog of the truth, the things the government does and keeps covered, the shady under the table deals they make, and what he's doing to fight them. He steals their secrets, and files, and releases them on the internet. Tagger is sitting on a small fortune of money he stole from a drug lord a few months after moving to Megalopolis. He is wanted dead (or alive) both by the criminals and police, and isn't against fighting police if they're over-extending their power.

I hate to be a drag, but it sounds like this guy can do too much. Spraying gasses, super speed, and being the equivalent of The Question to boot...nuh.

I'd suggest picking one of those aspects and running with it, and discard the others.

Alright man, thanks for the advice. I took out everything regarding his powers, and im just gonna go with the skates. He'll have to use traditional spray paint cans now!

...Which is what I would say, but the trouble is, I'm not really sure where to fit you in at this point. But I do have an idea.

If you've read the Summary, then you know that the main antagonist in this RP is 'Earth-2', an alternate universe five years ahead of ours, where the Superhumans took over, and rule with an iron fist. All of the current players are about to head in there, and engage in what may be the final battle, but it'll probably take a while to finish it, so they'll still be plenty of time for you to play. Anyway, my idea is that your character is from Earth-2: while it's true that most Superhumans are in control, a small portion chose to resist, and you could be one of them. So, when everyone else comes over to Earth-2, you can pop-in, and join up. Is that fine with you?

I might be interested in this again. Say, would it be advisable to use beholder?

Um, I'm fine with you wanting to join up again, but... Beholder who? Is he a character your previously thought up, or something like that?

• Name: Baal - Real name lost to the mists of time Kuruk

• Side: Either

• Physical appearance: A middle-eastern male in his late teens. He has rather unassuming features, such as black hair and dark eyes. He is rather toned and muscular for someone of his apparent age. His voice, however, matches someone much older. It is deep, raspy and broken, as if it carried the weight of years. Whenever the situation requires it, Baal dons body armor, jeans and boots, obscured by a simple white linen tunic with hood. He wears a black obsidian mask with an ouroboros engraved on it, as well as black gloves. He also never parts from his trusty and old obsidian knife.

• Personality: Baal is heavily cynical and disenchanted with the world. He states facts, talks and relates to people, but with no hint of interest or emotion. Baal can also be very condescending at times. He is however, pragmatical. On the few ocassions Baal shows true interest, he is an honorable man whose only wish is to do good for all people.

• Powers:
  • Gifted Intellect: Baal is perhaps, one of the most prominent minds there is around, being able to touch almost any kind of subject with a passing understanding at the very least. He however, has areas where he shines, such as medicine and science in general, with politics and psychology the poorest fields.
  • Vast Knowledge: Baal seems to store in his own head almost everything that has happened in the World history. However, the leap in technology and social upgrades in the last century means he can still be outwitted in those areas.
  • Immortality: Baal once ingested an alchemical concoction that froze his aging and imbued him with a regenerative factor. He doesn't age, he doesn't get sick, and most lethal wounds short of decapitation send him into a catatonic state instead. However it is far from perfect. The regenerative factor can take weeks or even years to fully heal Baal, it will not help with decapitation or being blown into little chunks, and mistletoe can outright stop it, killing him.
  • Tough as Nails: Baal was born in an era where survival into adulthood wasn't settled, and it shows. Feats nowadays available to peak fitness athletes are just his everyday. He has also spent some part of his immortality learning martial arts to cope up with the grief produced by it, and it definitely shows.

• Other Skills: Baal has a vast knowledge, and in particular, is a skilled medic, chemist and physicist. He isn't however a good actor, and while he's not too shabby with computers, he's far from being the very best at new technology. Baal speaks a lot of languages, including dead ones. His somewhat unassuming appearance bereft of charisma can serve him in blending with crowds.

• Background: Born in ancient Sumeria circa 3000 BC, the man known as Baal was a mere apprentice of a local priest, versed in healing. Baal's intellect was ahead of his time, and by the age of 17 he was already a full fledged healer. At the behest of his elder, he would then try to seek a cure it all for the people. What he did find was much more. He stumbled upon an elixir of immortality by mere chance, although he didn't know at the time being. When he first drank the concotion, he was sent in a state of apparent death which lasted decades.

Years later, he rose up from his grave only to find his settlement razed by a rival sovereign, everyone dead and gone. Heartbroken by human nature, Baal began to wander the earth, never staying in one place for long, aiding the people he came across. Over time, rumours spread. He never aged, and seemed to know everything that was to man. People started to address him as Baal, and worshipped him as god. They even fought on his name, and even made sacrifices to him.

However, this broke his heart even more, becoming more of a cynical wanderer, a recluse. He would never stay in the same place for long. He however, would show interest in skilled people, and he would counsel them to improve their craft. At times, he would even take a lover. However, for each time he took one, he would have to mourn her and their descendants forever, leaving him more bitter than before.

Time passed, and the dawn of the twentieth century shook him from the stupor of old age. New knowledge was happening at unseen pace. He became intoxicated, and once again showed up to counsel, but also to learn. Science had never been so clear, so magnificent than it had even been before. The sun that they once worshipped was now power to harness.

And with that, it came his greatest disappointment. All that science was put into world-spanning wars, the likes it was never seen. Baal regretted his involvement with the science after the nuclear bomb, and once again shut himself in. But the maddening pace continued. It came an era of communications.

Communications and control. For the very first time, Baal felt he was being watched, controlled. He also knew that his days of staying unconspicious were nearing his end. And thus, he rose, among the superheroes that were appearing before him.

Miscellaneous Notes: Baal has been around for a long time, so he has probably a lot of acquaintances, usually erudites and scientists.

Mostly accepted. Again, like the previous sign-up-ee, we're about to head into Earth-2, so the most convenient way that you can join as soon as possible would be to have you be from that other Earth, presumably as a resistance-fighter. Is that fine with you?

Okay then; accepted. But, you're going to have to hold off on that intro post until everyone else gets to Earth-2, where your character is. It shouldn't take too long though, and once that happens, you'll be ready to roll.
