Thanks for clarifying. I too have a clarification: In my latest story, I have a character named Aaron. I just want to say that he's not a ripoff or copy of the Biblical Aaron. I just liked the name.
Sorry, couldn't resist. What I'm saying is I don't think you should worry about this. Congrats on getting published!

Personally, "Stone Cutters" is a vague enough name that I doubt your general audience would confuse them with the Simpsons club. It helps that I don't really have any idea what episode you're talking about, and my classmates would probably not know either.
So unless you're choosing a name that breaks the One Mario Limit or is otherwise well-known in the genre you're writing in, you should be okay.
Sorry about the delay of this post; I was busy with finals. Thanks, guys. :)
Pinkie Pie and flugelhorns are a bad combination.
Hi, it's me again. Since it is now May and summer will be approaching soon (I'll be publishing my second book on the first day of summer), there's a case of Names The Same I think I should clarify. I admit there's a faction in my story called the "Stone Cutters," but they're not related or connected to the club from that memorable Simpsons episode. I chose the name because I liked the sound of it.
