I don't believe that was ever flagged.

Linburger is hosted on Slipshine, which is a cartoon porn site, so it probably should be flagged if it isn't already. On a hunch, I checked the "Related to" page for our now-cut page on Slipshine, and found one other, The Key To Her Heart, which looks like it should be investigated, so I'm flagging it now.

(There were two other webcomics linked, but one was just a mention of another comic by the same creator, and the other was a reference to an unbleached-underpants version of a work that's already been ok'd, Ménage à 3.)

The Key To Her Heart was flagged and discussed a bit some time ago as I recall O_o Though I don't remember if there was a conclusion.

The Key To Her Heart was talked about back on pages 267, 268, and 269.

It was flagged, which I would've sworn it was, but it's... not now. For some reason. It wasn't resolved or anything. It not on the done list and there was no more discussion on it.

Just logged a CVER for the stories on Dragon Age. I know the P5 went through the recs pages a while back, but I think you missed a few on this one. In particular, 'The Games We Play' is pretty heavy on the porny side, and some of the others in the shipping fics section look similarly suspect.

What's precedent ever done for us?

Don't think FanficRecs.Dragon Age is something we need to look at. All that needs to be done is purge the porny ones. If we spend our time going through all the fanfic recs to figure out which ones are porny and which ones aren't, we'll never get anything done.

I wasn't around back when the original P5 was doing the Fanfic Rec clean-ups. What was the process involved in that?

They went through each of the rec pages and deleted the recs of porn. Including checking the tec'd work if it was necessary.

Really? Since regular users are involved in the cleanup anyway, couldn't there just be a standing "clean" verdict for these pages?

If it violates the rules delete it, if you need help ask here or in the cleanup thread and only submit the edge cases to the P5.

Wading through fanfic can be a long and painful process after all.

That seems like a more sensible solution than having to slog through page upon page of pornfics. We're already shorthanded without Catalogue.

The Key To Her Heart seems to have the first chapter for free, but no more info.

Linburger is claimed to be Plot With Porn.

Marquis de Sade I think is definitively historically important a la The Story Of O.

At some point, The Key To Her Heart swapped out the free chapter. Originally, it was the first chapter, which I'd call the hard side of PG-13. Now it's a futanari sex scene. So...I'm not sure what to say to that. I was given to understand it started out with very little sex, then lots, then switched back to very little, but we need to hear from someone who has actually read the thing.

It varies about how much sex there is in any given chapter, yes. I could just go and PM the P5 member an archive with the whole of it (308 pages) for the complete review.

We discussed M. de Sade starting here, for reference.

I think Shadis's suggestion could also apply to Captain Ger Bear. That is, seeing what happens to his works. IIRC, he was behind Chub Pan (cut as porn) and Grant (pending evaluation).

I don't think the fate of the Marquis de Sade should be tied to his works. He's a bit like Lord Byron - more famous for being who they are, than for what they wrote. That personality may be created in part through their writings, but I think Sade is a significant figure in himself.

He did write some notable (by The Other Wiki's standards) works, like 120 Days of Sodom, which does not meet our content standards. Personally I would give it the "classics" exemption but I may be in the minority there.

Ultimately, I think we just need to axe the tropes and list some of his major works and a brief discussion of him as a historical figure. Angelheaded.

I remind everyone that 120 Days of Sodom was never voted on. It was a pre-P5 cut.

It's still list as Appealed on Pages Cut Under The Policy Change.

We are planning to flag all the not-yet appealed stuff when we have gpt rid of the 40+ works we still have on the queue.
