Alright, so the Gundam statue is awesome, and it's really cool that they built one, but it doesn't really show the trope, does it? The only indication of it being a Milestone Celebration is in the caption. We can find something better. Perhaps the box for a game or music CD or something with "[number]TH ANNIVERSERY EDITION" on it or something like that.

That's just incredibly awesome. Now, if they can just do the same with an Evangelion... [/nerd]

I think the current could work if we linked a news article in the caption. However, it would probably be better to have something with the milestone actually on it, as was suggested.

I think the pic is awesome enough to keep just based on that, but it's not really a strong image. Is there something like a magazine cover of it, that says what it is?

It could use a better pic maybe one of those ones at night where it's lit up and has spotlights on it...

A mag pic could work let me see what I can find.

I don't know what Gundam is, but that is a great image for this page. A link to a relevant source in the caption probably couldn't hurt, of course.

I think the 30-pic is slightly better. It's just too bad the number is slightly obscured by the fence, and it is a little small. There's a lot of air to crop away, so it wouldn't be that much smaller.

If you can't find a working one for the statue, you could always try one for Sonic Generations.

(How did you guys post those images, BTW? When I copypasta'd the two links from Sonic Retro, it told me 'no hotlinked images, please!', so I had to use that tedious image uploader on this site...)

Those aren't bad.

First is okay. Second is too small - you might try making that one the full 350px, since it's largely a horizontal image.

I had to take out the part on the right because that small one in my other post WAS 350.

Not according to Firefox, which says it was 250.

Well, then it must be a goof in the Image Uploader.

The first one in 8 is pretty good, but I'm not too keen on .

As for whether it should replace the current image, I'm finding that hard to decide. Funny or awesome, funny or awesome…

I like funny, so I move to replace the image.

Also, the current image is kinda JAFAAC in a way, and doesn't illustrate without the caption.
