Uhh yeah change it back we just chose this in IP not too long ago.
Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!I was the one who switched the image, and I did so in order to save the page and keep it on topic. Current image is one of the guy who named the trope, Mana of Moi Dix Mois (as mentioned repeatedly in the article.) His being there is both on-topic, a clear portrayal of the style, and not confusable as underage anime girls might be. I'm sorry for not consulting Image Pickin' first, but the page was in danger, in my opinion.
?The girls in the anime image looked underage, putting the page in danger of being removed if someone confused it with pedoshit. Mana, on the other hand, defined and named the trope and was obviously an adult when the pic was taken.
?Personally, I say we should stick with Mana just to be safe. If it's the opinion of others here that the original image needs to be put back, fine, I'm not looking to get into a Flame War or Edit War over it. I just think Mana is a far better example and an image less likely to end up here in the future.
?For starters, could people please, please stop using loaded, obscene non-existent words to describe things?
Secondly, no one has ever suggested that the page is in any way in danger of being cut or has any inappropriate material.
Thirdly, numerous tropers reviewed the image and no one raised the objection that the image is in any way a problem for the reasons you mention.
Finally, there are rules about how to do this which you violated in every way possible. If you want an image changed, open an image picking thread. Unless it is blatant porn, don't pull it yourself instantly, and even then open a thread to explain your actions.

I checked the old IP thread, and two mods gave the anime pic a thumbs-up when it was being deliberated aside from myself. Because of that, I'm switching the old pic back and moving the Mana pic to Image Links.
A Groupie, I appreciate wanting to help out considering everything that's been happening, but circumventing the process isn't the way to go about it.
Locking up.
The page image was changed without consulting Image Picking, even though there was a note saying not to do so.
