SOO MUCH CONFLICTING INFORMATION.

Please don't tell me we need a third party here to judge this? I will read it with a hammer and nail at my bedside if it puts this discussion to rest.

Feel free to judge and say what you find, but like Pyrite says, we should hold off on further discussions till the other P5 members have been accounted for, so we don't waste forum space going back and forth over the same exact issues.

Raidou is right. Until we have a full house, a full review is off the table for now.

The worst thing is that there's enough contradictory info that we basically have to catalog everything in it to prove its innocence.

Flogging the dead horse isn't going to endear it to the P5 or FE, I'd imagine. Let's move on.

Just read through chapter one. In the chapter itself there is exactly one pantyshot (well, of the typical variety. Once or twice there's a shot of the derriere of the daughter (I think?) of the main male character, since she's not wearing underwear. There's also a second pantyshot, but that's in the opening pages rather than the chapter itself. There's also the typical bath scene that's to be expected, but not too much is shown. Really, the most objectionable thing so far seems to be the fact that the main character has to drink semen to stay alive.

...I feel dirty, but it doesn't seem Kodomo no Jikan levels yet.

EDIT: Just cataloging this for later reference, so I can just copy and paste it later rather than doing it later, when I might not have the time.

EDIT the second: Surprisingly nothing really objectionable in the second chapter.

I probably should clarify before anything more happens is that the character does not drink semen throughout all of it and drinks a special blend of "Fairygirl Breast Milk". Which is fully offscreen at all times. It has a single chapter about it. However, there is only 26 translated chapters, so it may have happened past that. If at all.

The semen part is actually meant to be when she grows up to her adult age where it's "required".

That's all I wanted to say about it.

Thanks. Noticed my mistake during chapter two, where they elaborated on the fact that she doesn't need to drink semen now, she just needs to start doing it in three years to survive.

Taking a break for the moment though; don't want to saturate myself with too much at a time, after all.

Probably a good idea. For some, this manga might seem a bit much. It's hard to take in at first, and I can understand why.

But the anime is much tamer than the manga. It's mostly a little girl learning to open up to others and make friends. awww.

At this point, I think it'd be best to just drop the issue with Lotte and move on. It's clearly not gonna be reinstated any time soon.

Yeah - not until a full panel of 5 can be convened, at the very least. I'm dropping the matter until then.

Ultimately, it doesn't make you a bad person to like a series that get cut. Plenty of works have periphery demographic's, and ultimately, I doubt anyone has a right to judge someone for such a thing. It just seems that it is ultimately is problematic to keep the series (In this case, Lotte) around due to what is seemingly its primary demographic. (<- I feel this is banner material for this forum section, minus the parentheses.)

I'm willing to put down the discussion on Lotte until a new 5 P member is chosen (Although, like many arguments, it is tired at the moment.)

Or more than one new P5 member, assuming that Catalogue really has left...

Catalogue is just very busy with work and everything else. I'm sure if she actually left, she'd tell someone.

Request to unlock Breast Sponge, which was cut under the pre-P5 slash-and-burn.

TRS came to the consensus that the trope should be expanded into Body Sponge, as it was found that there was a supertrope to Breast Sponge, and that it was found in non-pornographic works. But Body Sponge is stuck as a redirect to Breast Sponge, which is locked, and the TRS stalled because of this.

Can we get it released?

You can still edit Body Sponge without needing an unlock. Breast Sponge can stay cut.

I've got rid of the redirect on Body Sponge. You can now add what you want to the page.

So, what's up with Caligula? It was cut pre-P5 due to being sexually graphic, but the impression I got, admittedly from The Cinema Snob's review of it, is that it's intended to be disturbing (sometimes amusingly so), not titillating, and it's got relatively mainstream people like Malcolm McDowell in it. Has anyone here seen the whole thing, and if so, are you willing to offer any evidence either for or against my impression?

It was cut by admin fiat, so unless you've got a really good case to make to the Fast One, it's probably not coming back any time soon. I can't comment either way, having only watched the Cinema Snob review myself.

EDIT: That was what I recall, but it's been a long, long while and my memory's a little cloudy.

Was it really cut from admin fiat?

From what I heard, Eddie said that he thinks it's porn, not that it'll never come back if someone can prove otherwise. Like I said, what I've seen of it via The Cinema Snob makes me think it's highly unlikely that the director intended anyone to fap to it.
