My general opinion is that all HONF subpages can go die in a fire
- they are usually either Natter or Weblinks Are Not Examples.
I think that this page, if anything, could become an index of HONF subpages for MLP fanworks, but other than that it is cutlist fodder.

Maybe we should merge this with the series's fanfic recommendations page, because that's exactly what this page is.
Oh, wait - it looks like we recently cut all fanfic recs because of the risks associated with linking to direct unfiltered fan content. Perhaps that's a good excuse to cut this page as well.

HONF has nothing to do with fanfic recs. Read the "Policy Change" thread in Wiki Talk.
Normally it doesn't, sure. But this page is not a normal HONF page. HONF pages identify scary moments in a work. This page identifies works in a fan community.
I agree that the page could be cut. If any of the fan works mentioned have pages on the wiki, the examples can be moved to those pages, and if not, well, I'm not sure that that's much of a loss.
This page has 150 inbounds. It would be nice if they got somewhere. So, let's turn this into an index and be done with it.

I'm with Lu: this page is just Bad Example Bait and an awful lot of this stuff could be listed on the individual works HONF pages. Even if we might rather it wasn't. And that is probably what will happen anyway if we were to cut this page.

Redirect it to the index for Little Pony fan works, if one exists. To the main Little Pony Nightmare Fuel page if none does.

Does anyone think it could be possible to move the not NSFW images to the 'Image Links' subpage? Or something of the like?
...Okay, I'm a llama...We can't move anything to the Nightmare Fuel page because Accidental Nightmare Fuel doesn't have entries anymore.
High Octane Nightmare Fuel has a Fanfics section, I for one think this page serves the same purpose- making it easier to navigate the site. No need to cut something that's actually providing information, and some of these fanworks don't have their own pages to attach the entries to.

I think it needs a nuke to the face. Mainly because making a catalog of the creppy things fans have made is pretty much pointless considering the massive ammount of "art", videos, and other stuff made just for shock value, like the OP said.

I don't think deleting the page is a good idea. These aren't all just obscure fanworks that nobody's heard of. I don't read fanfiction of any kind for any series and I've heard of some of these.

Stuff that belongs to the less obscure works can go on their own HNOF subpages.

As long as the content is moved somewhere, I can live with nuking the page. We already have an index for the works themselves, and the works have their own pages, so just giving the works their own HONF pages makes sense. I just want to be sure that no content will be lost.
