Wonder how will they make it work...heard 2 was a big letdown...
Give me cute or give me...something?Liked the first, barely noticed the second. I like the look of that trailer though.
Not much hopes for this one, because the second game played and handled terribly. I returned it back to Blockbuster after one day, and I'm usually not that quick to return even games that I find have issues or annoyances.
Is it Capcom's MO these days to hand off their franchises to no-name developers?
That trailer is awesome. =O
“You can’t be an important and life-changing presence for some people without also being a joke and embarrassment to others.” -Mark Manson.I hope that this game turns out alright. Given the terrible trend of Capcom's outsourcing, I have an instinct to be wary.
Long live Cinematech. FC:0259-0435-4987Neither Spark nor Lost planet have the best track records. On the other hand, both have had some really killer ideas that just never got fully realized. So maybe they'll be able to reach their potential together?
Oh, and Capcom's outsourcing one of its' franchises to try and get a foothold into the western market again. Eh.
Bleye knows Sabers. If they truly want to hand it over to some Western developer who can help them gain more popularity in the West (not that they need it, they are just jealous of Call Of Duty), then at least hand the franchises over to well-respected and well-known devs, like Epic Games, Crytek, Eurocom, the like.
Capcom is just being cheap.
Well Capcom always do that...they have loads of people only work on few projects...
Give me cute or give me...something?How the hell Spark Unlimited manages to remain in business despite releasing terrible game after terrible game is beyond me.
...I suspect organized crime is involved.
Apparently this game could actually be pretty awesome. I'm tentatively optimistic.
These are the words that shall come from my mouth. I shall be known for speaking them.Total Biscuit once covered this game and said it wasn't particularly engaging. At least not the first few hours of the game. People on the Steam forums say otherwise, saying instead that it's not so bad and is a fairly large improvement in quality compared to Sparks' other stuff. Especially in the writing, voice acting and character arcs, which from what I've heard are "shockingly competent."
What do you guys think?

I've heard folks on Neo GAF really like the main character, Jim.
the color todayIt's part of the Midweek Madness sale on Steam for 50% off (down to $25). LP 1 and 2 are also on sale for 75% off each (down to $5 each). It's highly likely that the multiplayer for all three games are dead at this point, so should I get one of the first 2 or go straight to 3?
Given how fast this sucker went for sale it's hard to say. Hell, the influx of Steam players might actually revive it's multiplayer community. I would've picked it up myself, but I've already got a full gaming plate plus a bit of a backlog to take care of, so I'm not touching it for now.
