. The article is fairly neutral in tone, while the comments work quite hard at proving Maxima is the only non-batshit Christian around.
The only part of the article that really sounds like it disagrees with the ruling is when they quote the guy who lost the case:
“The ruling and the reasoning [of the court] is terrible,” he told reporters. “They actually used the concept that truth is not a defense.”
However much good can be brought out from the bible, it is not literal
, which is where I'm guessing this guy's problems started in the first place. In addition:

I think we've had plenty of people on this thread (and others) with this very line of argument? Most people don't make the distinction between "I hate what you do" and "I hate you" and it doesn't seem like this guy was one of those few.
