Just a Face and a Caption: One Letter Name

This trope is when a character is named after a letter, the picture on the page it just shows the signature "L" from Death Note with a poor caption. If anyone hasn't seen the show they would just see the letter with no meaning behind it. Fan Myopia at it's finest.

I do think, however, that the show could provide a great image with either L or Near and a shot of the letter in the background. I'll go searching.

Actually I was thinking of using a web comic that lampshades and/or makes fun of it. Though like you said L would be a good candidate.

It's a nice picture but it's still pretty vague, maybe something from the manga where he introduces himself could work.

The pics on the pages aren't loading for me.

Mangareader is kinda seeing a lot of traffic, and the server isn't prepared for such strain so that might be the case.

It's basically L saying "I am L".

You could go for the same scene (I'm assuming) from a fansub.

Clock is set. The pages from that site still aren't loading for me...I've had that problem with other titles, it's like it starts to load the pic and then just puts up a text link and that's all it will do. A clean screencap from that fansub vid could do.

If you're in the US, it won't work, because they've blocked all US IPs. Wait, lemme Photobucket them.
