Nah, 50% of why I was here was Red/Ash interactions. The RP concept of the world shaping around the people was 49%.

The other 1% being the fact I have trouble staying away from Crossovers, aha. If you'll let me, I may come back eventually with someone else, however, since the concept is pretty cool.

That character is nothing like Recette. Ugh. Stop with that comparison, there's no similarity. >.<

^ I'd take that as a compliment, since that means I have succeeded in creating an original character.

It doesn't necessarily mean that. What it means is that you're really bad at comparisons. An overly optimistic child whose response to 'run a shop or lose the house' was to make a sign doesn't have anything in common with yours. :|

Besides, Recette seems to have gained a crush from an alcoholic princess. Then there's the elf girl, the robot, swordsman, magician, spear-wielding girl with no sense of direction, martial artist, vampire demon guy... yeah, not very similar.

...Or maybe it just means that you're reading into this a bit too much.

I suspect he means in the sense of having been saddled with her father's debt and then having had an outside source take her under its wing to repay said debt, as well as being (and this is important) not exactly serious in the comparison. Either way, this is a really important and relevant issue and we should totally continue talking about it.

I actually thought that the comparison was between the character and an adult Recette's personality.

Fathers getting themselves killed in stupid ways is a definite similarity. Though Recette's picked a fight with a dragon. :|

And survived. Though Recette left him in the dungeon out of shame after seeing what he looked like. XD

I haven't withdrawn my interest. I've just been hella busy.

I probably will choose a similar version of the Yuria the Witch I linked before, (sir, treat it as the beta to Yuria's submission). I would do more, but I'm working (with an essay to write when I get home). If David (or anyone) wants, maybe I/we could create characters that flow together or something. *shrugs*
