The "Dwarf Fortress difficulty" image captures the trope rather perfectly, but it's gigantic.
So how about a cut version?

Too long and I don't see the trope there.

On the left, it shows you how FUN is served to you without fuss. On the right, it shows that you have to fight for your right to have it. Is that somehow unclear?

Is there a source? I'm assuming it's not from Dwarf Fortress since it's not made out of ASCII.

I think just linking the source pic in the caption will work well enough for sourcing.

It's Dwarf Fortress fanart. The full picture and pagelink in the caption should serve better for sourcing than potholing the image.
