After just finishing the redefinition, the current picture is good, but I feel this picture◊ from Team Fortress 2 works better as it also illustrates the proportions.

Plus I linked the current picture on the Ratchet & Clank example to provide context, so it would still remain on the page in some form.

Strong Guy from X Factor would be a fantastic example if a good pic can be found.

I think you're right, but I've no idea what; I looked at that image and was certain there had been a thread involving it recently. I'm going to go hunt through likely pages.

I think that suggestion is used on another trope page. I might be completely wrong on that though.

Actually, the current picture is on the high end already. And the picture I'm suggesting is also because of the grid. It helps make it clear that if the legs aren't small, it's not an example (even after expanding the trope, there were still bad examples.

How about using the guy from the title logo splash page of Reflexive Games. We could put the scale lines beside him... He's got both the "too-skinny legs" and "too-short legs" parts going on.

The shadows make the legs almost blend in.

Pretty much, I'm fine with either the image as it is (not bad really) or the Team Fortress 2 image. The latter's good, as it demonstrates and lampshades the trope, but he seems normal compared to the current pic.

That's because Qwark is now on the high end of the trope with the new definition.

And I repeat, the advantage of the TF2 picture is that it helps make the parameters of the trope clear.

And as I said, there's no reason we can't add the graphic to the side of the Reflexive guy.

I like the Team Fortress 2 image (Since it visually shows the distinguishing part of the trope), but I also like any of the suggestions on a white background. By putting the character on a white background, it's easier to discern his body outline; while the current image is certainly an extreme example, you have to squint and look closely due to how small the picture is and how he kinda blends into the background.

The current Ratchet & Clank image is very good. I see no reason to change.

Again, we expanded the trope beyond that specific form. That is a major reason I'm going for another picture here, to help show the new median for this trope.

Strong Guy FTW. The Team Fortress one is pretty good, but I just don't like the color scheme and the background.

You can try making your own version with better colors. Then put that on the crowner.
