Metacell 2: Beyond the Gate

Kickstarter for Metacell 2, which looks awesome based off the vid. Seriously, even if you can't chip in money, watch the video. It's awesome.

It’s a 2D arcade puzzle shooter (sounds weird, but looks awesome!).

Yeaaaah, seems like another good idea that isn't to get funded.

I blame the fact that those guys don't do enough PR/updates. Reminds me of that Molecat Twist game nobody checked thread for.

Heck, seriously, its annoying how nobody is interested in new obscure/new ideas they haven't heard of Yet everyone complains about things being stale old/whatever.

It doesn't help that they didn't put any actual gameplay stuff until recently.

Hmm, yeah. Kind of pity that this probably won't get funded =/ I wonder if there is anyway to bring publicity for it or will they try again?

A video with more gameplay would be nice, as much as I loved their current video.

Why the heck is that so? Nobody but me posted in Molecat Twist thread, and wasn't there another Kickstarter thread you posted? Does nobody check these threads? Or do they check and see "Oh, kickstarter" and then stay silent?

At least the other one I posted, Valdis Story, has almost reached its goal. I wish I could say the same for Metacell 2 or TAKEDOWN, which is still nearly $55k in the hole with 29 hours left. At least there's plenty of time for Fist Puncher and The Dead Linger.

Metacell 2 could still get funding if it would get more publicity =/

True, it's still got 13 days to get $67k, no idea how to make it more public, though.

If you really want to get more publicity for these projects, I could recommend perhaps putting links in your sig and troper page, as well.

Hmm... Turning sig into advertisement board? I guess that could work...

BTW, sent message to developers of Metacell 2 and suggested they would try out Kicking It Forward thing. Dunno if that would work but I would assume that it DOES give publicity for everyone who checks the page.

This game looks fantastic it's a shame that they haven't received even 10% of their goal.

Yeah, pity that they aren't getting more pledgers..... I wonder what they can do =/
