Yeah, it's a picture of the Trope Namer. And? Doesn't show that they were gotten in Bonus Stages or that they have any importance at all in the game (playing Devil's Advocate here, because some people haven't played the old Sonic games where the Emeralds were only in bonus stages). It just shows a "Try Again" with Eggman holding 6 Chaos Emeralds.
Honestly, I don't think that this'd be easy to demonstrate in a picture. The criteria for this trope is:
1) Found in the Bonus Stages 2) Optional Mac Guffins.
We'd need multiple pictures, and even then, I don't think that it'd work out. Something like a regular stage->bonus stage->Chaos Emerald get! would work, but that still doesn't demonstrate that it's a MacGuffin.
Anybody willing to come up with an alternative or should we leave this imageless?
