@M Fan: I see no issue with Mac writing it. Yeah, he isn't a great plotter, but he is a good writer- he wrote Wrex, after all.
And it's Blasto. It doesn't require much effort to make that awesome.

So the Fridge page for Mass Effect just blew my mind.
Remember how everyone complains about Harbinger not destroying the Normandy when Joker comes to pick up your squad at the end? Or even how the Reaper who kills ventkid doesn't even try to destroy the Normandy?
Well also remember the Derelict Reaper from ME 2. Remember what we picked up there? A Reaper Identify friend-foe system.

I don't think even the Reapers are stupid enough to not realise the Normandy is not a Reaper ship.

The Reaper on Earth was busy mopping up the attacking forces. Right after it blows up the shuttles it turns its attention on a few tanks firing at it.
Harbinger doesn't have an excuse though. I mean you can see him still dealing with Hammer while Shepard says his goodbyes and after the Normandy takes off, which would be a good enough excuse, but then we get a quick scene of him looking right at the Normandy as it takes off.
