Some "hidden" background for Yorth Redbeard: He's married and has two children. It was an Arranged Marriage for business purposes—they don't love each other, but can tolerate each other well enough for short periods. He sends letters home via one of his items—sometimes he gets letters back.

![]() Aw yeah.
Regarding your post, Daltar, I'm pretty sure you meant to say "decline", not "decadence". They kind of mean near-opposite things. Blog of the Slightly Damned, for those who like their demons furry.

... Oh right.
Ahaha, that's fixed now.
If I'm sure of something it's that I'm not sure of anything.

Um... Whoops.![]() Spideypool
I worried that would happen the second I posted.

Don't worry! I already edited my response.

Get used to it. I am the master of ninja posting. Blog of the Slightly Damned, for those who like their demons furry.

SKJAM: I figured that might be the case. But Felix's branch of the family is somewhat minor. So any knowledge of their trading partners would be via osmosis. His branch is more crew and the occasional navigator, rather than captains and dealers.
Also, I'm about to go on music camp for the weekend, so just have Felix follow along. Or something.

We're going to need some background information on Engate's Keep and Core Gems. For a centuries-old lich who's supposed to know Rylaath like the back of his hand, Roland isn't exactly pulling his weight as a master of lore.![]() Walrusmaster

So... how am I to introduce Rime?
Going to Australia. My posting time will be wierd. Deal with it.

IŽd suggest him bursting through the door, apologizing for being late as there were some complications with the operation or something of the like and then someone would explain what to do to him.

...Come to think of it, I think Roland and Mak'karath are going to get along very well. The old folks are going to have quite a bit of fun at the party's expense.edited 23rd Mar '12 8:33:44 PM by Pyrite ![]() Aw yeah.
Might want to edit your post, Pyrite. Pretty sure I indicated Jian Yu is paying attention to the kobold now.

I was referring more to the second paragraph, where you said Jian Yu was staring at Roland. But hey, whatever works. Blog of the Slightly Damned, for those who like their demons furry.

Ah, that part. Unfortunately, due to the constraints of time zones, just assume that the first two paragraphs of my post start before your comment on the antagonistic members, the third after nman's statement on exploring the town, and the last two after the kobold starts ranting.

I'd rather we not get into the habit of having posts in an Anachronic Order. Trust me, it will get really confusing later on. Let's try to keep things sequential, time-wise.

I understand where you're coming from, and I'll try my best. But if my guess is correct, I'm on the other side of the world from most of you - so could I request a little leeway on that issue? Otherwise, my character is going to be perpetually one step (or a few) behind the others in terms of conversation.
