I think the realistic style was Influenced by Asura's Wrath, but I like it, in all honesty.

Well shit, I haven't felt compelled to dip into my wallet to buy an import in years.

About time.

I would buy a PS3 if Ouka was in this game. She's one of the most underrated characters (Legend of the Twilight in general is overlooked way too much) in the whole series.

If there's gonna be a fighting game, then you gotta include her in it. Her whole schtick was to get stronger the good old fashioned way: BY FIGHTING IT OUT!

Lorewise, she's the first bare-fisted monk class, and the only one pre-GU. I really want her to be there as well. Hell, even in GU the only other monk class people are Pi and Sirius. Her chances are quite good, as long as the roster is a respectable size.

Provided that the series' creator is still heading the project, you know that Piros and Natsume will be in the game somewhere.

I can't link it right now, but gameplay footage has been released, and initial reactions are that the game will not disappoint its fans.

Hiroshi Matsuyama usually has a hand on everything CyberConnect2 makes.

Maybe if they use a story mode with boss fights ala Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 or Asura's Wrath, it could be a rather impressive game, story wise.

Maybe even a Score Attack Mode.

Aww, I was just about to post that. Anyway, so far the confirmed characters are Kite, Haseo, Orca, Balmung, and "9", who seems to be pretty central to the game's story.

Seeing that, I'm kinda hoping that this isn't just some small, fanservicey side-game for the movie, or else there isn't going to be a lot of content for the game.

Also hoping for an international release, obviously.

Why are there two female characters resembling Kite now?

.hack//Quantum's character that resembles Kite is the one with Pig tails. The other one that resembles Kite is the main charactrer of the .hack CGI movie the game is bundeled with.

And we get to play as OVAAAAAAANNNNNNNNNN!!!!!

I actually thought that the female Kite avatar from the movie was the same one from Quantum until I saw that trailer. Kind of suprised we haven't gotten a female Haseo avatar yet.

I would so like to see the animation for BST Haseo would be like in the G.U. triology movie when he first awakens after Atoli is killed by Ovan (Which was so copied for Armless Asura trying to get up in the TGS 2010 trailer of that game.)

Going by the videos, it seems Orca and Balmung only show up for Kite's special attacks.

I'm seriously hoping they're actually playable.
