...do you guys think this movie will be affected in any way by the news of Kristen cheating on Robert? I've been hearing reports of disillusioned fangirls.

If it causes them to realize that Twilight is a festering pool of suck that doesn't deserve their attention, then I hope so. But I don't know.

I think that if they found out, we'd have heard.

Their shrieks of utter horror would have echoed off the moon.

The premiere events are going to be awkward as hell.

So they're finally putting a stake through the heart of this blood sucking franchise. Good Riddance.

This film, unfortunately, is going to break my streak of not watching these films and avoiding them at all possible.

You see, a song from an upcoming Green Day album will appear in this movie first, before the album comes out, and as a loyal fan, I'm gonna have to see this. Good thing my brothers are already going.

I'd say that that means Twilight will ruin Green Day, but personally I think it can't be any worse than 21 Guns. *rimshot*

I like 21 Guns. I'm a fan, I like all their work.

I want to see Doug Walker and Spoony take this one on. The RiffTrax should be EPIC.

Heh, my friend is a huge, huge Green Day fan, so I wonder if that'll convince him to want to go despite not giving a single damn about Twilight.

The trailer was very impressive. If I hadn't already known it was for a Twilight film, I might have considered going to see the film. They've picked out all the cool-looking bits, rather than the tedious "romantic" crap that makes up the majority of the film. :)

Judging by the trailer it looks like they'll actually fight the Voltouri. That's an improvement...I guess.

Isn't this supposed to be the book that has the really gross stuff? How are they going to handle that?

Ditto. That's pretty much all I'm looking forward to with this; otherwise, to me, it just doesn't exist. I hope that Spoony's rant is at least one hour. Possibly two.

They took care of that in Part 1. Mostly.

There's The Host, which is also being made into a movie.

The most disturbing thing was probably Reneesmee's birth which was in the last part.

At the risk of being flamed I actually didn't think The Host was that bad. It's got a lot of problems but I could see it being an entertaining movie if given to the right crew.

I liked it! It was a very enjoyable read as a scifi, not so much as a romance. Meyer's aliens were refreshingly innovative and weird.

I'll admit, I'm kind of tempting to check out this one simply because I'm a big fan of Lateef Crowder. Of course, I may be best off just looking up the fight scenes via Youtube like with the Tekken movie.

I actually haven't really heard much bad about The Host...but, then, I think people spent so much energy hating Twilight that they couldn't be arsed to care about anything from SMeyer after that.
