So yea, us coffee drinkers should gather here and discuss how/what we drink the awesome liquid.

What's your favorite coffee drink?

I like anything iced or with sugar. Sugar, Sugar, Sugar. In fact, forget the coffee, where's the sugar thread?
  1. Starbucks Doubleshot: Expresso is great for keeping you awake, if nothing else.
  2. Mocha BK Joe Iced Coffee: The burger king I frequent sells these $1 each.
  3. Java Monster: This will definitely keep you awake.
  4. Starbucks Pumpkin Spice <333
  5. Cinnabon Cinnamon roll iced coffee
  6. Mcdonald's Hazelnut Iced Coffee
  7. Caramel. Frappichinos. Any Caramel Frappichino.
  8. Folgers Classic Roast.
  9. Cuban Coffee: Grew up with it.
  10. Coffee Ice Cream: Not technically coffee.

Okay, I live in south florida, and for 16 years I didn't like coffee. Fortunatly, I am now 17.

Unfortunatly, I know next to nothing about what types of coffee are good and such.

Any suggestions? Or a rundown on different types?

Starbucks and Tully's are good, you can always go and expect good coffee from them.

Seattle's Best, though, are decent, but I would suggest staying away from them. They burn their coffee.

As for what I drink? I usually get a shot in the dark, double strong, whipped cream, 2% milk, and caramel flavoring.

Let's see... for a while my school had a Starbucks in one building and a shop in another that served Seattle's Best. I found that the coffee drinks made with Seattle's Best were sweeter, but that probably doesn't have anything to do with the coffee base. Maybe if the syrups were SB too, but I don't know if they are.

I don't know anything about coffee brands, but I usually drink a hot or cold mocha, if Starbucks doesn't have an interesting seasonal flavor like pumpkin or gingerbread. Recently I've been experimenting with getting a shot of mint in my mocha.

Espresso. No sugar, no milk, no nothing. As black as the soul of the RIAA president, and as strong as a jackhammer to the face.

I also like good Turkish coffee, but that's difficult to find.

If all else fails, French press coffee is OK, I suppose.

I am not a fan of filter coffee, though.

Well, unless I have time more often than not I just throw a handful of it into pot of water on the stove and heat it until it gets strong enough.

All hail
I usually just have normal coffee with some cream and sugar in it. Occasionally I'll get the right amounts of both and it'll taste awesome.

I should probably actually measure the ingredients so I can determine what those magic amounts are rather than just free pouring and hoping for the best.

I tend to like my coffee sweet, but I'll drink it black if I have to. I have a caffeine addiction, I think.

Well, if it has coffee in it...unless it's artificial flavouring...I guess technically...>.>

Any suggestions on a coffee machine? Gonna get one soon for an apartment, and I'm on the lookout for what to get.

Anyway: My mainstay coffee is Folgers, plus some milk and just enough honey to take the bite out.

I stopped using sugar in my coffee a few years ago.

My FAVORITE coffee is the actual ground-up-coffee-beans, especially from Peet's. I can drink that shit black, or maybe with a LITTLE bit of honey. The only problem is that I don't have much time to brew coffee, so I'd either need to wake up early (HELL NO) or make sure I have an hour for breakfast.

Starbucks and McDonald's coffee are the bane of my existence.

I once tried Turkish Coffee, and accidentally drank some of the grounds due to the adorable tiny cup. BIG MISTAKE.

Not all that odd, I've been informed they overroast the coffee to enhance the aroma at the expense of the flavor.

[up]Never heard of a shot in the dark.

As for favorite coffee, it's most definitely a cafe mocha. As for sugar, I go without. I find that sugar + coffee = no for me. Also don't like my coffee too bitter now.

Hooray for coffee!

Does anyone here own a Moka pot? It makes a coffee that is very close to espresso, and it extracts a lot of the natural oils and caffeine the coffee grounds contain, making a cup with a much more powerful punch.

I also got some seasonal Cafe Ole Chocolate Cheer coffee for Christmas time, and that stuff is quickly becoming my favorite.

I really like coffees that are iced/creamy. Just had a vanilla-hazelnut medium roast with a dash of 2% milk and some sugar and cinnamon.

For those of you don't know, a shot in the dark is where you add shots of espresso to black drip coffee.
