As it turns out, the DADA textbook prop in the film Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban was an actual book, and was on sale at a promotional shop in Japan when the film came out in 2005. The shop is long closed now, and the book is lost to time.
Given that its information on werewolves was copied directly from Gabriel Knight, I shudder to think what else it was wrong about. Are textbooks really like this in the H Pverse?
