Poor Image: Religion Of Evil get usage counts

Well, the Trainwreck Syndrome is hard to break, but that really is something the ones doing it are responsible for.

The Internet misuses, abuses, and overuses everything.

Well, I'd rather not encourage it. Plus it's more "freaky ungodly abomination" evil but I'd prefer "sinister" evil. Preparing a human sacrifice instead of being populated by self-goring zombies?

And well, there's those cleanup efforts Wilbyr mentioned. The Cthulhu image might be unsuitable due to those now.

There's still the one I suggested and That Human brightened. It's only got blood.

[up]I prefer that.

[up][up] That one works for me.

A pocketful of saudade.
That also works.
The words above are to be read as if they are narrated by Morgan Freeman.
I think it lacks the theatrical effect of the other one.

Zzzzzzzzzz
It's less theatrical, but I think just as clear that this is not a religion that espouses values that are normally considered "good". The Abomination one is on the line of too gory, to me personally (not as a Mod).
'He strutted across the bedroom, his hard manhood pointing the way' sounds like he owns a badly named seeing-eye dog. 'Sit, Hard Manhood!

We got a Holler asking if the image in the previous page was too gory. If you ask me, yes, it is.
Quod gratis asseritur, gratis negatur.
I like the lovecraftian one.

With Mod Hat On
Folks, forget the Cthulhu one except for Image Links...that's two mods and an engineer that think it's too gory to use.

EDIT: Damn, once you set a post to mod mode you can't turn it off...oh well.

Then that leaves just this one, so far.

I still prefer the other one, but if it's not acceptable, that one isn't bad.

^^ What about the previous image?
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel.
Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.
What are they doing that's evil, exactly? Unless you assume Dark Is Evil and that five-pointed-stars are only used by evil people, they're doing nothing diabolical.

That is sort of a weird criterion. A solid depiction of a "religion of good" probably wouldn't show them doing something good, just looking it. Pentagrams with candles at the points and black hooded robes are kind of evil-looking. Says "religion" much more loudly than the vampire one.

According to the OP, it wasn't really a religion in the movie.
something
I guess my point is that the vampire worship picture is much more obviously evil, with members who don't even appear willing, while the pentagram one can be mistaken for completely innocent neo-pagans or wizards.

The original image is also a spoiler since since it shows that a dude pretending to be one off the good guys is with the movie's villain.

So um, still only one option?
something
In uffish thought
[up] It seems so, but that one option (post 28, as far as I can tell) is very good.

Good enough. Locking up.
The system doesn't know you right now, so no post button for you.
You need to Get Known to get one of those.
