Why CAN'T Rissi Palmer get a fair chance at getting any awards?:

I am upset at the country music industry focusing on the same type of acts (Namely, blond-haired, blue-eyed white people), while refusing to acknowledge any kind of racial diversity whatsoever.

I am talking about the lack of success for Rissi Palmer, one of only two female African-American country artists currently active (The other one, Miko Marks, actually won a few awards, dispite her songs not charting at all). She is literally ingnored when it comes to nominations for award shows!

What do you guys think?

Just awesome like that
I think, "Oh, that's who Rissi Palmer is? I've heard the name before, but I had no idea who the hell she was before now. Thanks!"
Insert witty and clever quip here.

My page, as the database hates my handle.

My music.

I actually know who she is.

Females, FULL STOP, get the cold shoulder at country radio anymore, except for Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood and Miranda Lambert. We had so many women hitmakers in the 90s what the hell happened?!

>African-American country artists

You can't even write racist abuse in excrement on somebody's car without the politically correct brigade jumping down your throat!

The system doesn't know you right now, so no post button for you.
You need to Get Known to get one of those.
