The new Hun looks and sounds nothing like the old Hun, instead being turned into a Bruce Lee clone. Any bets on how long it'll be until he gets mutated too?
So Shredder and a bunch of ninjas drive down a busy street on decked-out motorcycles with a tiger and a fish and no one bats an eye. I guess after an alien invasion nothing surprises New Yorkers anymore.

I loved it when that line popped up in the episode. This show never fails to make me geek out with all of the references. XD
Is the fat italian guy supposed to be that 80's villain that engaged in tickle torture?
Don Turtelli (sp?)? I guess it could've referenced his original appearance rather than his well-known one.
Why do decent characters suffer Character Derailment while others get the golden child treatment? Running the Asylum while Armed with Canon. So according to these guys there might be a Dark-Raph story line that will be similar, but not exactly the same(for obvious reasons), to the Dark-Leo one in the IDW comics.
I know this isn't the most... reliable source of information, but it's interesting nonetheless.
Edit: Oh, and everyone at Tumblr are freaking their shit over the rumor. It's so fun to watch the tumblr-ites misplace their marbles all over the place.

Kinda weird how they act like the fight at the chemical plant was a complete victory, considering they didn't damage any of the equipment.
You fell victim to one of the classic blunders! For reference, Don Turtelli appeared in three episodes of the 1987 Turtles show. Here is his first appearance, and this is what he looked like in the other two episodes he appeared in. There were other mobsters in the 87 series, like Tony "the Butcher" Vivaldi, and one guy who didn't have a name who showed up in a few episodes in the 2003 series, including when he worked with Baxter Stockman during the "City at War" arc.

How did Donnie know the potion Shredder was cooking up was a mind control serum and not more mutagen? Wouldn't he have needed to test it first?
He was testing it. We see him remove a sample from the centrifuge and look at it under his microscope before he bursts in to tell the guys.
According to the production number on the model sheets, Muckman should be coming up next episode, maybe. Have to wonder if his creation will have to do with the city's ongoing efforts to clean up after the invasion.
I wonder if Hun and Bradford are going to have some kind of rivalry. They both want Shredder's approval and their both based on famous martial artists.
If Wikipedia's anything to go by, the next episode is airing on April 26th...

×11 Maybe he'll become Tokka.
‘My ignorance is just as good as your knowledge.’I saw a video of two people trying to play a cricket video game. One guy knew how to play cricket, but not the video game, while the other guy didn't understand cricket at all. It reminded me of Casey Jones' introduction scene from the first movie. I love the idea that a meat-head like Casey knows how to play a game that is infamous for being unintelligible to everyone not of British descent. I want a scene in the new show where he flawlessly explains the rules of cricket to the rest of the cast, only to be met with blank stares.

Gwendoline Yeo will voice a character.
Here's hoping it's Mona Liza or Viral.
So there was a trailer today detailing future episodes and Raph falls victim to Shredder's mind control chemical.
Oh god, I totally called it! Ugh, not sure if want!
The more I watch this and see the Shredder's dickery, the more I feel that he's nothing but a big baby who blames everyone else for his own self-caused problems.
When you wish upon a side of beef, soon will come an end to all your griefIt's Shredder. That's basically the basis for his entire character.
You fell victim to one of the classic blunders!Except for that time he was a universe destroying alien.
...Well, okay, the universe destroying part came only at the end, but still.
One Strip! One Strip!80's Shredder was childish in a humorous sense. 2012 Shredder is childish in a darker, more tragic sense. Like a lot of stuff from the '80s in the 2012 show.
It's been 3000 years…I actually really like that about this show. It takes things from the 80's show that seems silly nowadays and puts a more serious spin on it.
That and all the mythology gags. Dem gags.
The 80's-verse and the 2k12 verse are actually really similar when you think about it. If there's ever another Turtles Forever crossover I feel like the 2k3 boys will be the odd guys out.
The hiatus can not end soon enough. The sad thing is that I'm used to it thanks to Young Justice.
<——— Misses Young Justice

We all miss Young Justice. And Spectacular Spider-man. And Gargoyles, but at least there were a lot of Gargoyles episodes. I even liked W.I.T.C.H. Why can't any of Greg's shows get a third season?

So before seeing it, I wonder if this episode will be filler or something important disguised at filler :P Knowing tmnt, probably filler with plot important sudden ending
