A name change could help it. Something like Sit Down For The Bad News?

...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.I'd prefer to expand it to Gently Breaking Bad News, since as it is, it's still about the phrase (and this would likely make Bad News in a Good Way a Sub-Trope).
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid.A dialogue trope is still a trope. In this case it's the dialogue pattern that indicates "I'm about to tell you something bad." It's not the telling itself — it's the precursor to the telling. The telling itself often is quite blunt and not at all gentle, and it's certainly not Bad News in a Good Way.
Now granted, that still means that we've got yet another Missing Supertrope: Breaking Bad News

...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.Actually, we have Bearer of Bad News as the supertrope, so that's not a problem.
But I see how this is a Sister Trope to Bad News in a Good Way.
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid.Huh I assumed that was a character trope.
It needs to be made into a "does indexing" page then, and clearly identified as a supertrope.
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.Why index it? It only has a few sub tropes.
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid.Definitely a trope. (I've seen this in Real Life as well.)
The title most likely needs changing, but I can't think of a good replacement.

I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid.Calling crowner in favor of "Expand to trying to break bad news gently."
Waiting on a TRS slot? Finishing off one of these cleaning efforts will usually open one up.Well I'll be busy most of today, so I'll work on this tonight and tomorrow.
Also, need to brainstorm new title suggestions, since the name still is a stock phrase.

Crown Description:
What would be the best way to fix the page?
19 wicks, and 11 inbounds. Furthermore, I admit I made the trope after the stock phrase. That doesn't mean there isn't a legit trope in there. It's actually a form of trying to gently break bad news, and that is a trope.
So if we have such a trope already, we should merge this. If we don't have one, this should be expanded to cover that, and it needs a rename (since it's dialog based).
