One word to describe my character's personal flaw?

I'm not entirely sure which word I should use to describe one of my character's primary flaws, and it's important that I do, so that I have a clear grasp of her personality and what she's going to try and come to terms with over the course of the story.

As a child, her parents wanted her to bring honor to the family name by becoming popular and well-liked among the other girls in her home city - therefore, they encouraged her to be as outgoing as possible. She did whatever it took to earn the respect of her peers, even if it hurt other peoples' feelings. Suffice to say, she ended up as something of an Alpha Bitch who made a lot of bad choices. Eventually, not only did she realize who she was turning into, but she decided that she didn't want to be a part of it anymore, and she ran away from the city. She learned to become independent and settled into a treehouse on the outskirts of the city, and eventually made a few genuine friends along the way. She never tells them the full story of her past, though, and prefers to leave it behind her. She hopes that through kindness and compassion, she can make up for the mistakes she made when she was younger.

I suppose, then, that her flaw would involve her reluctance to face the past, but again, I'm not sure how to encompass that in one word (though I could stretch it to two or three, possibly, as long as it's clear). Would anyone have some suggestions?

Throw in some consequences for her bad decisions that she has to deal with. Preferably, add some aspects of her flawed personality that actually apply in the present. Because right now, the answer is "none". Being unable to "face the past" isn't much of a flaw when there's nothing of consequence to face.

So give her something. Is she so determined to be the opposite of her old self that she makes irrational decisions? Is she callously disregarding the suffering she caused, thinking that everything's sunshine and rainbows now, and that she just gets a do-over? Plenty of possibilities there.

I knew there was a reason that I was having a hard time thinking of her flaw - it's because she has none yet. So, thanks for clearing that up. ^_^

That being said, I like the idea of her (let's just call her Alice) acting irrational in an effort to be a better person, since it shows that she's trying really hard to hide and forget her past. In addition, her rival in the story started off as a Cool Loser, but his sister was bullied by Alice's Girl Posse to the point where she ran away in distress, never to be seen again. This was one of the events that made Alice realize who she was becoming. From that moment, the rival sought to avenge his lost sister. He wholeheartedly feels that Alice hasn't changed and that she's actually worse because she's deceiving her new True Companions - which of course is only his viewpoint.
